I actually wrote this BEFORE Christmas, and I posted it originally on Amaranthia, in the collegium. It didn't occur to me that it might be considered fanfiction before, and I'm posting it now, even though I know Christmas was a while ago.
I do this kind of thing a lot, and they sometimes turn out pretty good. It just happens when I have a song stuck in my head and then I mix it with whatever I happen to be thinking about. This is what came out of it:

And he swaggered out the door into the snow.
When they found him Christmas mornin,'
They were all glad he'd been attacked.
He had hoof prints on her forehead,
And gruesome looking sled marks on his back.

She's been takin' this so well.

Partying with the druids and night elves.
It's so much fun here without Dameon.
All the party dressed in black.
And we just can't help but wonder:
Should we open up his gifts or send them back?
