Summary:
Haley James is the most popular girl at Tree Hill High. Nathan Scott is at the lower end of the school's social ladder. Can two opposites who befriend one another become the greatest of lovers?
Character Overview
Haley James: Cheerleader, popular, Friends with Brooke, Lucas, Jake and Peyton. Having a lack of commitment, means she is gladly up for a random hook up. Isn't always pleasant to people who aren't her friends. Is being tutored by Nathan.
Nathan Scott: Tutor, his only friends are Mouth, Skills, Junk and Fergie. Isn't the greatest when it comes to girls. He's crushed on Haley for years but would only admire from afar.
Prologue:
School cliches suck. Who ever told us who we can and can't be friends with is as total idiot. These thoughts ran through Nathan Scott's head every day. You see at Tree Hill High Nathan is considered to be an outsider. In his senior year, Nathan is at the top of his class, but the fellow students don't care about that, it's all about being popular at tree hill. What Nathan finds worst is not the insults or the bruises but that he is in love with the most popular girl of all, Haley James.
