One night Lorelai comes downstair's in her stretchy jean's and a cute teeshirt and see's Rory watching tv falling asleep on the couch.
''hey sweetie do you want to come to the airport with me to pick up Max?'' Lorelai asks her
Rory shakes her head ''too tired got the pillow's in a perfect mush position.'' Rory tell's her
''okay sweetie get some sleep I'll be back in a little while love you.'' Lorelai tell's her and kisses her head and grab's her key's and purse and leaves the house and jump's in her jeep and drive's to the airport and goes in and grab's 2 coffee's and wait's for Max to get in.
A few minute's later Max get's in and she see's him and jump's into his arm's and kisses him
''missed you!'' she tell's him
''missed you too.'' he tell's her
''coffee?'' she asks him and hand's it to him
Max takes it ''thank's I really need this.'' he says
''mmm kay well let's go get your bag's and head home.'' she tell's him
''okay.'' he says
They go down to bagage claim together.
''so where's Rory tonight?'' he asks her
''oh she's at home she was too tired and falling asleep on the couch when I left.'' she tell's him
''oh okay.'' he says and goes over to the carousel and grab's his bag's then goes to the jeep with Lorelai and get's his bag's in the trunk and Lorelai start's driving them home.
''so how was Toronto?'' she asks him
''it was fine it's a pretty nice city.'' he tell's her
''well good.'' she says
''yea so is Rory excited about going back to school?'' he asks her
''um yea I think she is are you going back to work at Chilton this upcoming school year?'' she asks him
''um well yea that's my job.'' he tell's her
''okay.'' she says while she continue's to drive paying attention to the road while talking to him.
