Draco heard humming. Who the bloody hell could be humming in the hallway?
Turning round, he found the culprit - a Ravenclaw staring dreamily into a book while humming.
"You do know the book you're reading is upside down, Lovegood?" He asked, scowling.
Luna paused, her wide, childlike eyes taking in Malfoy's form. "Why, hello Draco…" -Draco's eyes narrowed even more when she said his first name- "Yes, I know. It's easier for me to read it like this."
"What?" So the rumors were true; this girl is loony!
"Sometimes you have to look at things differently, to get the bigger picture."
"I don't understand…"
What was more baffling was that Draco had actually stopped to talk to Loony Lovegood. He should have just kept walking.
"Most people tend not to…" Luna closed the book and stood, "I didn't think you would get it either. You're a very complex boy, Draco."
"The hell are you talking about?"
She softly giggled.
"Are you laughing at me!"
"I'm sorry, have I offended you?"
"Offended, by the likes of you?" He scoffed. "Never."
"Alright then…" She brushed past his much taller frame, and took off skipping down the hallway.
Humming, and barefoot.
