You And I

It was a poem I wrote a while back for a special someone and I thought it would be perfect for Zammie, but please PLEASE ask of PM if you ever want to use it. I worked extremely hard on it when I wrote it.

You and I

You hug me so suddenly.

Saying you were so worried about me.

And in my head,

All I could ever thing about is,

How did I end up with someone as sweet as you?

With my heart pounding,

Your cologne's scent washing over me,

And the tight squeeze of your hug

I realize that I love you

I love you so much it hurts.

So I hug back,

crying.

You looked at me

Using your finger to wipe away my tears,

A concerned look filled your eyes.

And you asked me

"Why are you crying?"

And all I could do was hug you tighter

And tell you

I love you so much that it hurts.

And as you were held me closer,

It helped me realize

Just how much I care about you

And as you smiled so gently at me

I felt my cheeks flush with red

Because at that very moment

You kissed me

And I could tell

You feel the same way I do.

Even if it remained unspoken.
