Chapter 1: New Friends ,A battle ,and a Fight
Note that: May Harley and Drew are travelling together in this fanfic for a short period of time (only beginning and maybe end I'm not sure yet).
As Harley walks out in his cacturn costume , Drew walks out (wearing the usual) and May walked out radiantly in between the two boys as they board off the ship.
Pikachu comes running up to May making Ash Brock and Dawn follow. "Pikachu Haha I missed you too. Are Ash and the others here too?" May had asked Pikachu and with that he nodded after that she saw them coming to her and noticed Drew and Harley behind her. "DREW HAYDEN EEEEP!" Dawn squealed because she was a big fan of his. "Sign my autograph book!" she said handing him a pen and Drew of course gave in to his so called fan and asked "What's your name?" "It's Dawn Berlitz!" The blue haired cutie replied as she saw him sign it. May was about to walk out to train and she put Pikachu down as she sneaked out while her friends were talking.
With May
"Huh? What's this?" May asked as she found a note at her feet it read:
May Maple,
I hope to see you this afternoon at the forest for a battle
A two on two battle
"Who's this from?" May asked and noticed what time it was she went running to the forest since she never missed a battle request.
"At least you came" a dark figure said as he approached May "The name's Paul" he told her.
"Why do you want to battle me?" May asked curious. "Because I want to see if I'm strong enough to beat you because the green haired dude and the cacturn guy were so weak." Paul said confident enough to beat her. "We'll just see about that" she replied.
"Come on out Chimchar" Paul said as he called out his pokemon.
"Wartortle go" it got out of its pokeball as May called it.
"Chimchar use flame thrower" Paul said and May's Wartortle dodged it "Now use use Water gun full Blast now" May said as Chimchar took critical damage and fainted. "Chimchar return" he said and took out another pokemon. "Staravia come on out"
"Wartortle you were awesome out there now rest." she said as she took out another of her pokemon "Go Glaceon" "Staravia Aerial Ace" he said and Staravia used it it hit Glaceon but gave only a bit of damage "Great move but it won't help you use shadow ball then use iron tail glaceon." As May called out those moves his Staravia fainted.
"Great battle" she said as she showed him her arm and he hand shaked it saying. "Thanks for your time are you participating on contests or something?" "Yeah as a matter of fact I am are you into gym battles?" she replied "Yes I am I'm actually Ash's rival though he never tells anyone about me." he said "The mean guy as he calls me"
"Nice meeting you and thanks for the battle Paul I gotta go my friends must be worried keep practicing and you might be good enough to beat me" she said as she walked away. Paul followed.
With The Others
"Hey everyone where's that girl? Brunette wearing red! She was with Drew and the cacturn guy!" Dawn said and saw Paul walking by with May. "It's Harley get things straight" Harley said as Dawn pushed him out of the way and pointed to May and Paul."So to counter attack you need to find your opponent's pokemon's weak point and that's how I beat you so look for that see you " May said and Paul left. As Ashsaw May he went running to her furious and yelled out "WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR MAY? HE'S MY RIVAL AND NOW YOU GIVE HIM BATTLE STRATEGIES?" "I'm leaving and Ash you really are a loser as Paul said maybe I shouldn't be your friend anymore." May said and with that she left and ran away. "Ash you're so insensitive you don't know what can happen to her." Drew had said ran after May only to find a surprise coming their way.
