The Cloud & The Sky
It's raining. The rain is drenching my clothes thoroughly down to my bones. But I didn't care about that at all. I look up at the sky but it didn't make me feel better at all like it used to. The sky was dull grey with the overwhelming rain clouds. Water drops are trickling feely down my cheeks and drop on to the already wet ground below. The sky that I have always loved is now in complete monochrome colors. It was like staring up at the reflection of my heart. Here I stand, next to a black coffin. The Vongola mark engraved on the lid along with the letter X…
You were my one and only sky. I can't drift freely anywhere else but under your vast sky. Not being able to drift freely made me feel like a bird that has its wings torn off. Why? Why did you come and agree on such an unreasonable plan? In truth, I was always against the whole entire plan! Even if it's for the sake of the bright future. I can't stand not being able to be with you. All of the scenery seems like it has lost all of it's colors the moment you were gone. Each day feels like eternity and I can't stand this at all! My one and only sky…please return quickly and release me from these shackles…
Weeks passed by. I'm starting to forget your warm smile that you show when you're happy. I'm starting to forget your voice. Your gentle, warm, worried but sometimes fierce voice. I'm starting to forget all of them. Your smile is slowly fading away…your voice is starting to turn into a mere noise…
I find myself smiling inside. You from ten years ago has finally arrived. If all goes well then I can finally see you again. He's brought me back the clarity of your smiling face and your gentle voice although it did sound a bit different of course. I will do whatever method it takes to make him strong enough by the time I have to switch as well like all the others.
"It's now up to you. Me from ten years ago"
I woke up lying on a cold floor. I sat up and looked around. Well, I see bunch of those annoying pesky herbivores lying around as well, all of them in their respective age of this time. "So, everything has finally ended…" I muttered to myself. With that I slowly got up and walked out of the room to look for my sky, the sky that I can drift around freely without any restraint.
Here I am again, standing next to a black coffin. Unlike that day, the sky was clear and the sun was shining brightly. Too brightly actually. White clouds decorated the vast blue sky, drifting freely like they should be without anyone to restrain them from their freedom. As I gaze up at the sky, I hear something sliding. I quickly looked down at the black coffin. As the lid of the black coffin slides off, it revealed an adult brunette looking tired from maybe sliding the lid off. The brunette first looked at the vast blue sky that he hasn't seen in who knows how long. Before he realized, I held him in my arms, hugging him as tightly as possible with all of my power. "Hi-Hibari-san?" Tsuna said in complete shock. "Wh-what are you doi-" he started to say but before he could I covered his mouth with mine. He became speechless and accepted it. After a while, I let him go and stared at him. His cheeks were flushed red and was gasping for some air. Then, he flashed a bright warm smile. That warm smile that I have always loved. I hugged the brunette again and whispered
"Welcome back, Tsuna, my one and only sky."
"…Yeah. I'm back"
