DISCLAIMER: This is a work of fan fiction written for the sole purpose of serving fun. The author doesn't profit from writing this. The Bleach universe and all the characters belong to Tite Kubo.

I just wanted to tell beforehand that this collection of HK stories is not the one that you can consider 'perfectly written.' I mean, the only reason why I'd started this is because... Well, HitsuKarin is so much fun to write, however random my ideas maybe.

You may find a couple of flaws especially on the grammar—most that even I can't identify. What with English being my third language.

Alright, I only wanted to tell you this because I don't want anyone of you to expect too much from these.

Honestly? The only thing that I want you to do as you read my stories is to have fun. If you can't bear my grammar, then my sincerest apology, but it's already the best that I can get and give you. FOR NOW...

Okie dokie, you may read now. ENJOY!

His eyes narrowed just as he entered his human-slash-shinigami-slash-quincy friend's room. "Don't you know how to keep your room clean, Karin?"

"My room is clean, isn't it?"

"I am serious here. Aren't you bothered with all the mess at all? You're already what? Seventeen? And, you still don't know how to clean your room?" He asked, looking around Karin's room.

"Whoa! Yuzu, is that you?" Karin taunted. "What are you doing inside Toushirou's gigai?"

"Knock it off, Kurosaki!"

Karin sighed. "Conservative, aren't we? Seriously, Toushirou, you act more than a girl acts." She paused, staring at her friend thoughtfully. "Or, are you... a gay?"

"W-w-what?!"

"Oh, my! Who would have thought? The great Tenth Division captain of Thirteen Protection Squad is a... a..." Karin wasn't already able to finish her sentence as she rolled on her bed, giggling.

"I am not a gay," Toushirou said firmly, glaring at his friend.

Karin stopped, her face dead serious. "Toushirou..."

The young shinigami looked at her, waiting for her next words.

"...do you have a thing for Hyourinmaru?"

Silence.

"KUROSAKI!"

"You cook?" Karin asked, surprised.

Before she could tease her again, Toushirou answered, "Don't get me started, Karin. I only learned to cook when I entered the Tenth Division since I couldn't stand Matsumoto's cooking."

"Oh, c'mon I was only asking."

Neither her voice nor her face held the usual playfulness. Maybe, she actually meant it.

"I think you'll make a good housewife someday."

Not.

He glared.

She grinned.

He had had enough. Karin just wouldn't stop teasing him, no matter how many times he'd pointed out that he wasn't a gay.

"I didn't find them attractive? That's because those girls are not attractive!"

Karin shrugged. "For you, anyways."

Toushirou loured and ground his teeth.

"Nothing's wrong with it, Toushirou. Just admit it. You are... you know." Karin said, grinning.

Toushirou stepped close, wearing an unreadable expression, and looked down at her.

Karin raised an eyebrow, daring him to speak his mind.

"Maybe, I am."

Baffled, Karin blinked. "So, you really a—"

Toushirou wasn't interested on whatever she wanted to say. He didn't want to hear it so he swallowed her words, pressing his mouth on hers. Wrapping his arm around her waist, he pulled her closer to him.

As quick as it happened, the kiss ended. Toushirou brought his mouth near Karin's ear, and whispered, snickering, "Doesn't it make sense? You're a tomboy, after all. That explains why I am attracted to you, right?"

When he didn't get any reply, Toushirou pulled away to look at Karin's reaction. He smirked, seeing how red her face was. "Not going to say anything?"

Karin looked up at him, still blushing. "I-idiot. This is not how I'd imagined your confession to me."

He chuckled and leaned in to give her another kiss.
