Consequences

AN: I decided to write this story for Terra because she always get so much hate and I don't understand why. She was a weird, sad, character who was a victim of Slade. She didn't really ever do anything wrong. So this is for Terra.

Terra stared longingly at the T-Tower. She wanted to go back, but she knew she couldn't. She didn't deserve it.

Though she acted like she didn't remember anything, she did. She just felt to guilty and ashamed to go back. After turning her back on her friends and letting Slade persuade her, she just didn't deserved to be welcomed back so easily.

And she couldn't let herself break Beast Boys heart again. He needed to move on and forget about her. But clearly, he already decided to move on now. Which made Terra happy. She just wished she could do so herself. But this was her just desserts. Plus it was her decision.

She took in a breath as a tear rolled down her cheek. If she hadn't listened to Slade...if she hadn't been so stupid...things could have been so much better. She could have been so happy. Why did she always mess things up?

She turned around and begin reluctantly walking away from the tower as more tears rolled down her cheek. She just wanted to be back...home. But she couldn't because she messed everything up.

A sob escaped her mouth as she continued walking.

"Terra?" Terra froze at her name and turned around to see Raven.

"You remember, don't you?" Raven asked. Terra looked down, not really knowing what to say. After a moment, she nodded though.

"Beast Boy really misses you, you know." Raven said, walking over to Terra.

"So? He needs to just forget about me. I hurt him enough already." Terra whispered.

"That wasn't your fault. Slade can be...persuasive. He even tricked Robin before." Raven said.

"Why...are you being so nice? Look, I'd feel too guilty. So please, let me go. And don't tell anyone I was here. This is the consequences I have to pay for, alright?" Terra told Raven, staring into her eyes intently.

After a minute, Raven finally sighed and nodded. "Alright. If you need anything, you know where to find us though. We'll always welcome you back, okay?" Raven said.

Terra nodded. "Take care of Beast Boy for me." She said.

"I will." Raven said with a small, rare, smile.

And with that, Terra walked away, not planning to ever come back.
