The Sheikah have always been a very mysterious and suspicious tribe. The ancient race has vowed their lives to protecting the royal family. For centuries they lived in harmony with the king, that was, until the ruler of Hyrule had found out one of their most important secrets.
Since the creation of this marvelous land, the Sheikah had been the only people to know of how it all came to be. The three goddesses sensed the loyalty in the clan and entrusted them with the secret.
Many years have passed since then. Many kings have reigned over Hyrule. The Sheikah had passed down the legend for generations. Somehow, Demetrios, the current king, had become aware that the tribe held a very powerful secret. He wanted to know more, he NEEDED to obtain the knowledge of how his country came to be.
Demetrios, naturally kind hearted, calmly called forth all of the Sheikah once at a time. As each member entered the king's room, the ruler calmly asked them all if they knew how the amazing land of Hyrule was created. The answer was the same from each Sheikah, no.
Demetrios grew tired of being compassionate towards the Sheikah. He would not focus on other duties until his thirst for knowledge had been quenched. Demetrios decided to step out of bounce and called forth another mysterious servant to the royal family.
On an ominous, cloudy, night Demetrios called for Ganondorf. Demetrios knew that Ganondorf came from the desert full of thieves. Though Ganondorf had never mentioned it, Demetrios sensed that he knew various ways of torture.
Ganondorf kneeled down before his king.
"My lord," he spoke in a firm tone. "You wished to speak to me?"
"Ganondorf, you have served me well all these passing years. Now I wish to ask you of something a bit moreā¦" Demetrios paused, choosing his words carefully. "Of your taste."
A grin spread across Ganondorf's face as he stared onto the floor.
"I'm listening, my king."
No more than a few hours had past that same night when Ganondorf and his own person army of minions had entered Kakariko Village, the dwelling place of the Sheikah. Ganondorf and his followers raided each of their homes kidnapping everyone from young infants to the elderly. Many tried to resist but were beaten in the process.
The king revealed a secret, not even known to the Sheikah, to Ganondorf. At the bottom of the Kakariko well lies a hidden undercroft used for private meetings for the royal family. After the demon had captured all of the innocent Sheikah, he and his soldiers dragged each of them down into the well.
The soldiers had quickly set up two chains from the ceiling where the Sheikah would dangle inches from the ground as they would be interrogated. One by one, Ganondorf's servants took out a Sheikah and cuffed them from the chains. Ganondorf began to strike them with his fists, hitting them until they coughed blood. If they still chose not to answer Ganondorf took out his whip. Lashing out harder and harder each time they refused to answer. The Sheikah, broken and torn, still denied everything. Ganondorf did not grow angry with them, but instead laughed at the pleasure he received from the torture. He began to summon fire at the feet of the Sheikah and if they still would not give in, they simply hung suspended in the air, slowly being engulfed in flames and burned until their bodies crumbled away into ash.
