"Oh, Jade...Why didn't you tell us," Tori asked softly.
"I..I," Jade studdered.
Cat whimpered as she looked up at Jade. "Why...?"
"Cat... I don't know, okay!?"
Tori put a hand on Jade's arm and Jade flinched.
Scars. They were all over Jade's arms and even on her stomach. She told no one...But that secret didn't last long.
Tori began slowly running her fingers over the scars and looking into Jade's eyes.
Jade's eyes stung as she held back tears but her gaze stayed.
Cat mainly stuck to stroking Jade's knuckles with her thumb.
Tori raised her other hand to Jade's cheek and held it. "We love you, Jade, and we'll always be here for you."
Jade nuzzled her hand as a few tears ran down her face.
Tori kisses her forehead lightly as she continued to trace the scars.
"Tori..." Jade trailed off.
Tori looked at Jade with a small, encouraging smile.
"I'm... I'm so sorry!"
Tori stopped tracing the scars and held her face with both hands, tilting their foreheads together. "Shh, it's okay."
"It's..It's not, Tor! I hid this from you and... and Cat!"
Cat silenced her by nuzzling the side of her neck.
Jade tried to fight it, but finally just layed back on the bed they were all sitting on.
Tori and Cat looked at each other, then layed down beside her. Tori placed a hand on Jade's stomach and traced the scars like she had before.
Jade looked at her with a pained expression.
Tori kissed her cheek, then pressed her forehead to the side of Jade's face.
Cat started nuzzling her neck like she did before.
Jade felt so loved but also felt like she didn't deserve it. She flinched when Tori touched a particularly deep scar, so Tori pecked her cheek and whispered soothing words in her ear. Jade didn't understand why they thought she deserved any of this, especially after she hid this from them. "Stop, just stop. I don't deserve you guys and I just need to leave," she said quietly as she tried sitting up.
"Jade... We want to help you; let us help," Tori whispered as she pulled Jade back.
"Tori... I..."
"I love you," Tori stated softly.
Jade couldn't help it; she burst into tears.
Cat looked at Tori with a sad smile. She felt really bad but she didn't know what to do.
Tori smiled back sympathetically and gestured to Jade, implying that Cat should do something. Jade needed her.
Cat bites her lip, then begins to sing softly. "But there's a hope that's waiting for you in the dark. You should know you're beautiful just the way you are. And you don't have to change a thing, the world could change its heart..." Cat stops as Jade looks up at her eyes. Che leaned over and kissed her cheek gently.
"Cat... Never change."
