A/N: Written whilst on holiday in America. I most definitely got the writing bug, you could say. Enjoy this! I most certainly did writing it and I tried to make the A/A relationship more 'realistic' rather than getting carried away with my fangirly tendencies, as it is so easy to do.

She sometimes wonders what he'd look like with his hair fluffy. Of course, it's not that she dislikes his gelled-back look per say, but it's just so typical Arthur. Sometimes, she gets the itching desire in her fingertips to mess up his hair – but she puts that feeling down to the rebellious streak in her wanting to come out. Nothing more, nothing less.

He sometimes wonders if she always wears a scarf to work. It's an observation he's made - like that Eames has the habit of saying the word 'darling' too often, or Cobb chews his lips when he's antsy (or when Mal's around.) It's nothing out of the ordinary, and certainly nothing special. He knows that he's always been good at pinning things down to the finest detail, to remember things. Even though he thinks that she'd benefit from not wearing one, from time to time. Nothing more, nothing less.

She can't remember the last time he didn't use sarcasm as some form of a comeback. Namely to Eames, but increasingly to other members of the team – but never, never to her. To her, she's noticed that he always proffers small smiles or nods of appreciation when Cobb compliments her work. It's gratifying certainly, to see that others appreciate her work as much as she does. Her efforts are for the team after all.

He can't remember the last time she didn't have a pencil tucked behind her ear. It's always a red one and it's always HB. Various sheets of A3 paper lie strewn around her workbench, scrawled with her musings and ideas on the mazes for Fischer. He likes to look at them sometimes, when he doesn't have to think too much about their purpose and design, but just as a drawing: something by her. She can see that's she's definitely as gifted as Cobb gives her credit for – not that he doubted her, or Cobb's judgement for a second.

That Kiss was definitely unexpected. Of course, something like that would have been – it wasn't as if she'd planned it in her head like some stupid school girl. She liked Arthur yes, but that was as far as it went. He was a part of the team, so in some ways she had to like and get on with him. Nevertheless, That Kiss, however unexpected, was also most welcome.

That Kiss was definitely not part of the plan. He has a thing about plans; after all it's what he does for a living. He's the Point Man – everything and every kick has to be planned and thought out to perfection but in comparison to everything, That Kiss was spontaneous. And he knows that he definitely does not do spontaneity. Besides, That Kiss didn't even work and he wonders whether it even would have done in the first place. But it was most definitely worth a shot.
