Father told him to watch Ed and watching him was exactly what he was doing. Envy peered around a corner as he watched Ed go into a cerulean painted house. He sat down and waited until he came out with a woman on his arm, clearly taller than Ed, and off they went; Envy following.

Envy didn't get a good look at the girl till a little while later. And when he saw her his breath left him. She had gorgeous blue-grey eyes and blonde highlighted brown hair that cascaded down her back. Her body was hour-glass shaped with perfect curves. Her face was smiling but her eyes were sad. From what he had overheard her, her name was Sapphire. She wore a knee-length powder blue skirt and a white button-up blouse. In her hands she clutched a large white leather bag with white gloved hands. One time, so captivated by her beauty, Envy got a little too close but was fortunately unseen.

The evening ended when Ed took her home, kissed her cheek, and left. Wrath came to take Envy's spot as guard next but before he came, Ed came into the shadows.

"She's beautiful, isn't she?" Ed asked.

"Yes," Envy breathed. "She is very beautiful."

"You can have her, you know."

"What's the catch, Ed-kun?"

"She has to like you."

Envy glared at his unseen half-brother. "I shall try to my best abilities."

Envy scampered off into the night to think about the girl and wonder at how he would get her.

Envy woke up the next morning beside the tree he had fallen asleep near. He sat up and looked around. He saw Sapphire nearby and she saw himand waved him over. He came and sat beside her at the foot of a tall oak.

"Hello, I'm Sapphire. I didn't want to wake you but I did want to talk with you." He blinked.

"I'm Envy. It's nice to meet you. I saw you…" he broke off midsentence when she touched his cheek.

"I know who you are; I admire your talent." She smiled at him. "I also know you're a homunculus."

"You-you do?" He managed to croak out.

"Yes. Please demonstrate your talent for me." She sat there quietly waiting until he finally gave in with a sigh. He stood and changed into Edward. She silently clapped with an amused smile that reached her eyes and he smiled back and bowed then went back to Sapphire. He sat down again and leaned against the tree trunk.

"You're very talented, you know."

"Thank you," he closed his eyes.

"Well, this has been fun but I really must be going." His eyes flew open again.

"So soon?"

"Yes, I'm afraid so. But I'll meet you again soon." She walked off and Envy sat there for a while till he was sure she wouldn't see him then took off after her.

Sapphire hurried into central and to Roy Mustang's office while pulling off her knee-length skirt to reveal a miniskirt. She knocked on the door of his office and went in without a reply. Hawkeye was no where in sight. Good, it's going well so far. She approached Roy's desk as he was gawking at her. All part of the plan, she thought to keep herself from punching his lights out for being so perverted.

"Hello, Roy," her voice as slick as honey and as gruff as a bear's. He stirred finally.

"Um, hello, miss?"

"Sapphire. But enough of that," she made her way around the desk to be near him.

"Uh, um. I-I ha-have w-work to d-do," Roy stuttered as he stared at the beautiful woman in barely anything before him before Envy flipped into the room.
