Normal POV
'It's ok, Case. You got this.' Case thought, he was trying to convince himself that the drop from a twenty foot building wasn't gonna kill him. He had been dared by his friends to do such a thing and they all laughed and whispered behind them as he repeatedly thought over and over again on what could go right and wrong while doing this. He inhaled and exhaled repeatedly before taking a running start and plundging over the railing of the roof. The cold air of night pierced his skin as he heard footsteps rush over and cheers of encouragement from the group of voices above. He soon felt a harsh force and crack in his head and neck. His neck was snapped in a odd angle while his head split open, the dark red staining his dyed blue hair. His legs went so far back that he could see his own feet in front of his face and feel the skin in front of his belly rip open, exposing his ribs and spilling organs. His back was broken, making his body have the shape of an octogan. Did this bother his friends? No. Because Case stood up right after he felt his joints pop back in place and his belly skin fix his organs back in place. He stood up and smiled widely, hearing the sound of cheering as he gave his friends a thumbs up. Yes. This was the strange thing around this town. No one could die. No matter if you splattered your brains on the wall or if you jump from a 47 foot tall building. You will live on for another as the curse lives on and spreads through this very city.
