Pairing: Trixie/Timmy… sort of.
Warnings: angst, crossdressing (sort of), some swearing
A/N: Sort of dark/angsty AU, inspired by the episode 'The Boy Who Would Be Queen'. (But it does have it's cute/fluffy/funny moments, of course.)

Timmy Turner slipped into his usual outfit of a pink t-shirt, a white, skirt, and white tights. He blowdried his long brown hair, pulled it back into a ponytail, and tied a pink ribbon into his hair as a headband. He opened the makeup case his mom had given him, used a little eyeliner, some mascara, a bit of blush, and lipstick. Then he looked in the mirror and forced a little smile.

He walked downstairs to breakfast. His mother smiled at him. "Ah, Timantha, good morning. I made pancakes today!"

His name was Timothy. That was the name on his birth certificate. But his parents wanted a girl so badly, they decided to raise him as a daughter. They told everyone he was a girl. Only the three of them knew the truth. He'd gotten used to it.

"Good morning, mom." He replied.

His mom handed him a plate of pancakes. "Oh, your hair looks so cute today!" She said.

"Thanks." Timmy said, as he started eating.

"Better hurry, or you might miss the bus." His dad said.

He nodded and ate his pancakes fairly fast. Then he stood up, grabbed his lunchbox, and headed outside to wait for the bus. It got there soon enough. He got on and headed for his usual seat.

His friends Chester and A.J. were waiting. "Good morning, Timantha!" Chester smiled.

They didn't know he was really a boy, either. In fact, A.J. had a crush on 'her'. He smiled back. "Good morning, Chester."

He sat down. "So, this weekend, did you see the new Crash Nebula?" Chester asked A.J.

Timmy was allowed to do boyish things still, like read comics and watch "boys' shows", but he never talked about it. After all, he was a girl, girls weren't supposed to like boy things.

Then Trixie Tang walked onto the bus. She passed right by him. He thought she was pretty. She didn't know he existed. She also thought he was a girl, just like everyone else.

School was the same as usual. At lunch, he sat alone. Chester and A.J. sat at the boys' table, where he wanted to sit but couldn't, and he didn't want to sit at the girls' table, despite that he liked girly things, too.

"Hey, are you okay?" Someone asked.

He sighed. "What?"

"You're always sitting alone at lunch." The voice, decidedly female, replied. "Why? You look so sad."

"Can't sit with the boys, even though I want to." He said. "I wanna talk about comic and stuff with them. I like girly things, but I like boy things, too."

The girl sounded a bit shocked. "You like girl things and boy things?" She asked. "Really?"

"Uh-huh." He said.

She sat down beside him. He looked at her. He recognized her; the purple headband in her long black hair, dark eyes, purple top, and white miniskirt. "Me too. I'm Trixie Tang." She smiled.

"…Timantha." He smiled back. "Nice to meet you."
