(~Good Day, All! This is my second piece of crap :] It's a Sakura and Sai.. thingy. And almost total OOC-ness may occur. :] I hope you enjoy it? Bon Appetite :D

Love Abby.~)

Sai heard the door creak open and paid no attention. He already knew this was coming, it was bound to happen. Sakura never liked to draw attention to herself, he'd learned that over the past few years of their relationship. That's why the sound of the door slowly coming to a close didn't surprise him; not one bit.

Sakura was always feverishly "chewing him out" about how he paid too much of his attention to his work, and too little to her. When inspiration struck, he couldn't just deny himself the opportunity to be great, and do what he loved, could he? When he had an idea, he got straight to work – no matter the situation. When he was in his own little world, slapping his brush down on the paper, Sakura was just an annoyance to him, and he often made that clear. He couldn't count the number of nights she'd stormed out of his apartment, slamming the door shut behind her, making the hinges quiver violently with the force of her departure. He couldn't count the number of nights he'd gone to bed alone.

Sakura-chan made her way into the room, making herself known by clearing her throat theatrically. He set down his paintbrush and turned to her, staying seated in his chair. She smiled to him, showing off her pearly whites and tucking her bleach blonde hair behind one ear. He returned the gesture, waiting for someone to break the silence. Sakura's expression changed, and it was if she had put on a mask to hide the pain that lingered behind her smile.

"Good morning..." She said, rocking on her heels uneasily.

"Mmph..." Sai grunted in response.

"We need to talk..." She choked out. He sighed, and Sakura turned her gaze away from him, figuring this would be easier if she didn't have to look him in the eye. "I can't do this anymore..." She said, and that was all he needed to hear. He'd known for a long time that this day would come.

(~Well, now wasn't THAT colorful? Now that you've seen the inner-depressed-depths of my soul, I hope you'll comment and tell me if I should finish this :DD It was my English assignment for last semester. Lol, yeah!

Love Abby. Again.~)
