Annabeth pov

It was a normal day at camp everyone was heading to the dining pavilion. Piper was talking to me about something I had kinda zoned out. Chiron trotted over to us.

"annabeth there is this new kid at camp and i want you to talk to him. he has an england accent and it is really difficult for anyone to communicate. i heard ur gramma is in europe and you have spent a lot of time there. he has not been claimed. please help him and maybe you can also teach him to fight. he says he's a prince so maybe he already knows some moves." Oh no, now That last line caught my attention.

Chiron just smiled and before he went away, he told me his name was Nicholas. I was going to ask about his surname but decided against it. I'll have to see him and confirm if my fears were right.

Percy joined me and kissed me on the cheek, ''everything ok wise girl?'' I gulped and nodded. I had to keep myself and the new guy away from Percy. I tried to avoid that question and started talking to Jason. He was to my right and Percy was on my left. casually talking I got Jason in the middle to keep my distance from Percy.

And then while sitting down I saw HIM. I was sure it was him. It was Nicholas. He was standing next to some machine. Maybe it was a karaoke one?

Percy noticed me staring at Nicholas. Nicholas was trying to untie the mike's wires, they were jumbled up. "annie do u know him?'' I was taken by surprise.

"hu? ummm... no I was just .. trying to figure out a way to untie those wire knots.'' I walked upto Nicholas hoping he won't hug me. But he did. All the campers looked at us in like is-that-guy-out-of-his-mind. I pushed him away.

Thankfully Percy didn't see us as he was busy arguing with a wood nymph for giving him a purple coke instead of a blue one. I sighed, Percy heard the dead silence and turned around I gave everyone a death glare an all of them started talking at once.

I could feel Percy's eyes on me and Nick. Nick was smiling like crazy, I smiled back at him I had missed him so much. "I missed u too" he said. I didn't care to ask whether he knew what I was thinking or I just said that aloud. I didn't care. I helped him with the wire thing. I blushed everytime our hands touched. What is happening Annabeth? You already have a boyfreind. But I knew that one day I would have to ditch Percy for Nick...
