The People of Middle-earth: General Physical Description

This is BROAD descriptive guide to provide some knowledge of the physical appearance of the people of Middle-earth. You are not in any way bound to follow this but it would be unwise to describe your Gondorian OC having bright blonde hair that shines like gold. Hope this helps!

MEN

Men of Bree

Eye: Variations of green and hazel brown

Skin: Pinkish fair

Hair: Grey to medium greenish or yellowish brown

Men of Dale

Eye: Variations of crystal blue to grey

Skin: Pale fair to medium brown

Hair: Grey to Medium reddish brown

Men of Gondor

Eye: Variations of pale grey, sea-grey and green, very rarely blue

Skin: Pale fair to tan or brown

Hair: Grey to dark shades of black or brown

Men of Rohan

Eye: Variations of pale green to intense blue

Skin: Pinkish fair

Hair: Silver grey, blonde to bright/light brown

Note1: Any descendents from Elendil and Isildur are tall. The height of Elendil and Isildur are believed to be seven and a half feet and over seven feet respectively. Aragorn is around six foot six inches. Men of Rohan are tall as well. Éowyn is described as tall and slender (not sure of her height). Her brother, Éomer, is of the height of Aragorn, broad and well-built.

Note2: Grey is included as to suggest that all their colourings fade when they are old enough.
