A/N: Yo, peeps! I know I haven't updated 'KDS' in awhile, but I got sudden inspiration while listening to "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts. Enjoy!

InuYasha sat in his tree thinking about the last fight he had with Kagome. It was senseless! Something about stupidity on his part! I mean, really! Him? Stupid? Ha! That's laughable!...Or maybe Kagome did have a point...'Well, it's her fault, too! I mean, if I...What am I talking about?! It wasn't her fault at all!' With that, the hanyou ran and jumped into the Bone-Eaters Well.
When InuYasha reached the other side of the well, he jumped out and ran to Kagome's open window. Inside, he heard a nice little melody. It reminded him of himself and Kagome.
I set out on a narrow way many years ago

It was true! All he wanted was someone to love him for him! A hanyou. Kikyo diverted him on his way along that path. But if it weren't for Kikyo, he never would have met Kagome.

It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true
He did think about the past he had with Kikyo. He would like to give the times he ran to Kikyo and trade them in for time with Kagome! Kagome was so forgiving, though. And she loved him for him! His dreams were coming true!

It was about time he told Kagome how he felt! He had to explain to her his feelings. He had to tell her the truth. InuYasha then jumped into the window.
Kagome looked up, surprised. "InuYasha."
"Kagome, you need to know something." Kagome looked up at InuYasha with questioning eyes, urging him to continue.
"I l...l...love you...I LOVE YOU, KAGOME! I don't know why I haven't realized this before, but you're the one! I know you may not feel the same for me as I do for you, but I just wanted you to know exactly how I felt." InuYasha turned to jump out the window but Kagome's voice stopped him.
"InuYasha! Wait!" Said hanyou turned around, looking at the miko expectantly.
"I love you, too." A huge smile spread across InuYasha's handsome features. He then pulled Kagome into a bear hug!
Now I'm just rolling home

How true the lyrics were! He and Kagome were in a lovers embrace. God really must of blessed the broken road that led InuYasha straight to Kagome.
