a/n: because it's two am and i have missed writing the black sisters.
once upon a time,
a little girl sat
a b-l-a-n-k canvas of innocence
and a stellar future
mapped out on the back of her parent's palms.
once upon a time,
the daffodil girl had two sisters
bright star bella
and her raven black curls
and wildwild eyes
(they were all waiting for the b/u/r/n/o/u/t)
galaxy dromeda
and her shining eyes
and kindkind smile
(they were all waiting for the c\o\l\l\i\s\i\o\n)
.
once upon a time,
a teenager sat
and they'd painted her in crimson
and her s-i-l-v-e-r future
lying in the blood lines of her fiancé.
once upon a time,
the daffodil teenager had one sister
black hole bella
and her manic laugh
and wildwild eyes
(they were all waiting for the .e.n.d.)
spiralling dromeda
and her empty bedroom
and kindkind smile
(they were all waiting for the s*u*p*e*r*n*o*v*a)
.
now,
a women sits,
and she's faded to washed out pink and dreary grey
and her blackened future
is running out of time.
now,
the daffodil woman is alone again,
she watched bella e/x/p/l\o\d\e
and dromeda take off.
she has zero sisters, no husband and no future
and so, she sits.
a peeling canvas of loneliness
and waits for the daffodil girl
to wilt
.
