I'm not falling
prologue

A small, blonde girl sat crossed legged next to the lake. She wore tattered clothes, they were barely holding together, which had once been a beautiful white dress, made of silk; it was fit for a queen. Tears were slowly running down her face, tears mixed with dirt and blood.
Everyone was dead.
They had died for her.
Although she knew the reason she still could not comprehend it all.
What was she going to do? Would she ever find peace with what happened? And most importantly, how would she keep safe and protect herself? She didn't want to make their sacrifice idiotic.

She brought her knees to her chest and hugged them tightly. She let out a wretched cry. The pain was too much, both physically and emotionally. She didn't understand why this had happened now. It had been over a year since any attack.
She glanced at the lake and it held her gaze. Even after all the pain she had been caused tonight, she could still find something beautiful.
The way the moon, clouds and stars reflected onto the water, they way the ripples got bigger and bigger until they were no more.
Silent tears slid down her face.
God she was glad to be alive.

Keeping her gaze locked on the lake she called out to Setsuna.
"I want to be somewhere I can help, Setsuna, I want to help all the innocent lives they saved tonight." She said it lower than a whisper and prayed that Setsuna would fulfill her wish.
Somehow she managed to fall asleep after all the horrible events she had witnessed and been apart of that night. While she slept Setsuna granted her wish. She stood over the petite angel, all the love in Setsunas heart went out to her. She felt sorry for her, she looked so sad and alone.
"Good luck princess, I hope you will be truly happy." With that Setsuna left her to be alone, next to a lake, in another dimension.

A boy with unruly brown hair and and amazing blue eyes stood next to the fragile girl who was asleerp with tattered clothes on. She was covered in dirt and blood.
What was she doing there? He thought of walking away, but she looked so helpless. He was sure she had been to hell and back, the way she looked, the state her clothes were in. He could see burns and cuts on her body. He wondered I what /i had happened to her. He decided to do the right thing and wake her, to take her to some place where she could clean up. Plus she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. She looked like a broken angel. What was he thinking?
He gently shook her shoulder, she didn't wake up, so he tried a little more forceful.
Her eyes slowly opened and she let out a moan. She was in so much pain, her body ached more than it ever had.
She peered up to see what had disturbed her.
He was looking down at her.
And blue clashed with blue.

AN: I know it's short, but that's how I wanted to end it. I have the next chapter written, but I want to see if people like the prologue somewhat.
Thankyou.
