I am a Digi-Destined.
I have been chosen for a reason.
And so it is my sworn duty to help bring balance to the world, both real and digital, no matter the cost.
With my digivice, I will bring forth the light, and fight back the darkness.
I will lead and follow my fellow Digi-Destined, listen to them, rely on them, trust in them. For we all share one purpose.
I will treat my Digimon the way I treat my comrades: with upmost respect and care. My Digimon is my partner, my ally, my equal...my friend for life. I will fight alongside and look after my Digimon, because they will do the same for me. Our bond will be stronger than any force that dares challenge us. There is no greater friendship than our own.
I will never, EVER, back down from a fight. I will never forsake my friends, the worlds we share, or their people. If all seems lost, I will find the strength within myself and others to do what's right.
With courage, friendship, love, sincerity, knowledge, reliability, hope and light...I will protect.
A/N- This was one of many writing prompts I did in my Creative Writing class in my senior year of high school, a looonng time ago. One of our projects was to write our own short creed or credo, and it could be based on something real or fictional. As a hardcore Digimon fan, I came up with this! Voila!
My teacher at the time liked it so much, she gave me bonus points for it. I think she was secretly a Digi Fan. :)
