notes1 just finished watching infected, currently watching spread, and i'm thinking that the tama part might be inaccurate because i haven't seen all 24 episodes yet?
notes2 i've been in the mood to write drabble-y things lately

Hanayo-san knows.
Unlike Tama, she is aware of what will happen once the 'Eternal Girl' is achieved. She can understand from personal experience the hurt and sorrow and anger her Selector will go through once she finds out that she has been deceived.
Apparently, Hanayo-san is not selfless enough to gladly give up her freedom for someone else.
She wishes that there was another choice — a way in which she did not have to lie and use someone, but she knows that there is no other way. She has known from the moment she meets her Selector that she will regret her decision, regret hurting this girl, but she is no longer in any position to do otherwise.
Even as she stretches out her hand and extends an invitation to her Selector to join her on the battlefield for the final attack — it's the last stretch to her 'wish' — she hesitates and asks herself if this is the right thing to do, because she dares not take the final step. She questions her Selector's belief for the last time and knows that they are in too deep to turn back now.
The least she can do in exchange for her freedom is to fulfil that one wish.
She trusts that Yuzuki will understand.
