Dropping her face to the floor, hiding her tears she whispers good bye, one last time.
She is running away from him now, trying to escape his plead voice, he is begging her to stay .
Hastening her stride she aches for the protection of her room.
Desperate to once again shut the world out, to hide with her pain.
Sliding down the cold bare wall she lets the salty droplets pour, her broken heart too heavy.
She cries.
For everything, for all of it…
She cries for her friend, and she cries for Pogue, who refuses to believe she is gone.
She cries for her self, for her decision to leave, for forsaking what she wants.
She wishes.
She wishes she could turn back time, she wishes that none of this was true.
But she knows it is, she knows nothing will ever be what it once was.

The flowers, she smiles at them, drawing a shuddered breath, are all that is left.
They offer the only colour left to see, but they only serve to remind her.
Telling her that she had to go, that she could not stay.
They all asked her to stay, and she told them that she couldn't.
They don't know her reasons why, they'd never understand.
She is trying to protect them.
They knows he will come back some day
She knows he would use her, a bargaining chip against them
This knowledge is her burden, too much for her to bear
She won't be a pawn in their destruction
And so she cries
She cries as she remembers, the hurt to much to bear
He told her that he loves her, he had begged for her to stay
She comforts herself knowing that,
Watching the light fade from the room,
She consoles her self with her decision
But still she cries
She cries goodbye,
She cries to protect them
And she cries for the end of it all…
