This is just a little poem that I wrote about Ed from the time he decided to bring back his mom to when he joined the military. It's kinda angsty, but I think it's okay... Anyway please review and tell me what you think.

The Price of Arrogance
Belief of a child, left unguided,
Arrogance gained from lack of restraint
Superiority leads to sadness,
Destruction, horror, loss, and pain.
A leg and a body lost to conceit,
An arm given freely in desperation.
Broken lives, eclipsed in shadow.
Living fear of condemnation.
Dead eyes imbued with the hope of life
Result from an option of loss and gain.
Determination of atonement
The devils' choice, the devil's shame…
