Final "Fantasy" Chapter 1: Final "Fantasy"
She's my best friend's girl…but she used to be mine.
It's raining. I stand still, looking at my feet. The anger flowing through me right now is indescribable. How could you do this to me? You knew how I felt about her. You were my comrade, the one person I thought that I could trust. I told you my deepest thoughts. I was always the shy one when the three of us were kids. Sure, we were all the best of friends. Some people called us inseperable. But every time I tried to get close to her in a way that was beyond friendship, I would begin to hyperventilate and would sometimes even pass out. No matter what, though, you were always there, giving me the confidence to try again. But now I see that it was all just your way of pushing your own secret agenda. I guess I was too naïve to see that at the time. But now my eyes are wide fucking open.
I saw you with her that day, and felt betrayed on so many different levels. Not just by you, but by her as well. I always thought that she suspected my feelings, and I guess I still think that. But my fight is not with her. In fact, she is the reason I am going to do what I am going to do. I have realized that the only way for me to prove myself to her is to kill you. I will stop at nothing.
The rain has stopped falling. I look to the sky and begin walking to my destination. The first step of my plan will be initiated very soon. You better enjoy the time you have now, because it's about to run out.
