It was a very calm day in Omashu. Baatar Jr Beifong was just finishing up his civil work and was heading back to the inn he was currently staying in with Pema, who offered to stay and keep a close eye on him till his work is done and she also wanted to get a break from the kids so she seized the opportunity when she had the chance. As he was walking down the streets of Omashu, Baatar couldn't but noticed all the happy and thankful faces from the people. They loved the work he had done for them and always looked for to new ideas he planned to come up with in the future. Baatar had to admit, he's glad to find a place where people see him for who he really is. Not his father's assistance or Kurvia's right hand man. He was Baatar Jr Beifong and he was proud of it.
