Why do I create my favourite works during unsightly times?

It's Not That Rare
"They're not rare, Kyoya," Dino's cheerful reply to the skylark's scowl. "I mean, you can see many tattoos on several people nowadays. Especially in the Mafia. And I'm a Don."
"They're unsightly, Cavallone," Hibari sneers. "And permanent."
"Not really." Dino grins. Hibari huffs.
Dino chuckles before smiling softly. "They're reminders." At Hibari's raised eyebrow, he continues, "For every success I did in the past after I was entitled Don."
"And so?" Hibari mumbles, closing his eyes and stretching his lean body languidly. "Still herbivorous. And ugly." The Cavallone boss's eyes trace him slowly before looking away. He always does that.
Dino shook his head fondly. Herbivorous? It's hell to get these tattoos, Kyoya.
"Nevermind," Dino exasperatedly sighs, slight amusement in his tone. He stood up, with him a few documents he didn't bother scanning. He went to Kyoya's place to relax, not to work.
Walking the few steps towards the door, he paused, turning slightly towards his ex-student. A few seconds passed before he speaks, "Until next time, Kyoya." He grinned brightly. "I'll fight you when there's no emergency."
"You better." Hibari's bored eyes watched him as he put on his sneakers. "And don't bring more tattoos back. Or I'll bite you to death."
The blond Cavallone's laughter still rings in his ears long after he left.
