A/N: So I got really into Love Live! lately, and wondered, "Where the hell are all the guys? The only ones ever shown in the anime were the little boys with Rin and Hanayo back when they were kids, Honoka's father and some random extras, all whose faces were never shown. So I decided, "I'm putting a guy into the story and get tons of hate. Who cares." And this is hence the product. A weird, if not really stupid Fic. Anyway, I obviously do not own any of Love Live! nor it's characters and other stuff I don't own. Only things I own are minor plot changes and my OC. Duh. Actually maybe some kinda slightly major plot changes. I don't know how much I'm changing the plot. Not too much hopefully. Anyway, on to the Fic!
Chapter 1: A Lot of Backstory Apparently
My name is Yoshitaro Ijiu. A second year student in Otonokizaka High School. An all-girls school. Well, except for me I guess. How'd that happen? Well, it's a really long story. But I'll cut it short. After middle school, I got posted to a high school I'd never heard of before. It was located in the centre of the Akihabara, Kanda and Jinbouchou districts in Tokyo, couple of minutes cycle away. Except at 15 years old, I still didn't know how to cycle. So it became a half an hour walk. Digressing, at 16 this year, I still can't cycle. Anyway, the first day of school came. I headed to school. To my initial delight, I saw a lot of girls around. I thought maybe high school would be slightly more exciting with more lady friends around. After two seconds of gazing around, I realised there weren't any guys around. The principal, Minami-sensei as I read in the school's pamphlet, was standing at the gate greeting some parents accompanying other first years like me. I decided I'd ask her for help.
"Erm, excuse me Minami-sensei, is this, er, Otonokizaka High School?" I asked a fair bit nervously.
"Yes, are you lost? Which school were you posted to?" She asked with a warm and kind smile.
"Otonokizaka High School." I replied really quietly.
"Sorry, what was that? I didn't quite get that." She bent down a little closer.
"Otonokizaka High School." I repeated with slightly more volume.
"S-sorry, did you say Otonokizaka High School?" She raised an eyebrow at me.
"Yeah. Erm, this is my posting result slip." I reached for a slip of paper in my bag.
She took it silently and read it. A small crowd had started to from and I could hear all sorts of whispers.
"Is he lost?" "Did he say he was attending our school?" "Is he some kind of pervert?" "Is this some kind of elaborate joke?" "Who is he?"
"Please follow me to my office." She turned and headed into the school building.
I followed silently and tried my best to avoid any eye contact with any of the other students. I stalked as quickly as I could after Minami-sensei to her office.
"You are Yoshitaro Ijiu?" She asked me, eyeing me carefully.
"Erm, yeah. That's me." I admitted nervously.
"And you're a guy?" She half stated, half asked. I nodded absently.
"It says you're a girl in the system though…" She turned to her computer screen. I just stood there silently, not sure of what to say.
"I'd have you transfer out…" She started but paused as she started scrolling through some things on her screen. I stood there really nervous and actually quite scared now.
"Please proceed to class first. I'll have to make certain arrangements." She got up, returned me the posting result slip that had my class list on it and ushered me out of her office.
"My name is Kousaka Honoka. Nice to meet everyone!" A girl was making an introduction as soon as I stepped into class.
"And you must be Yoshitaro Ijiu I'm assuming?" The teacher asked as Kousaka-san went back to her seat.
"Yeah, that's me." I stood in the doorway, trying not to look at any of my soon-to-be classmates.
"Alright, why don't you introduce yourself to the class then." She said gesturing to the spot Kousaka-san was standing in.
I walked to the spot beside the teacher's table as quickly as my rooted legs could move. I took a quick breath and turned towards the class.
"My name is Yoshitaro Ijiu." I muttered, eyes fixed on the ground.
"Could you speak a little louder please? And face the class, these ladies don't bite" The teacher smiled warmly.
"My name is Yoshitaro Ijiu, I'm a guy." I blurted nervously as I eyed an empty seat in the back corner of class. A few girls giggled and some others traded whispers.
"Alright, you can take that empty seat Yoshitaro-kun." The teacher pointed to that seat at the back of class. I walked as fast as I could without breaking into a sprint to the seat and sat down.
"Alright, next on the list…" The teacher was continuing the everyone's introductions but I had shut off.
The rest of the day went by really slowly as I tried to avoid any unnecessary contact with anyone in school. Which basically meant all contact since there wasn't any sort of work that had to be done with anyone else. At lunch break, I went up to the roof, half-expecting some kind of awkward encounter. But there was none. I mean, I've heard stories about high school rooftops being the location for all sorts of shenanigans like gambling, fights and such. But I guess seeing as this is an all girls school, there wouldn't things like those. Girls being more mature and such or something. I never bought that. Still don't. But I digress. I had a quiet if not slightly hot lunch, what with the Sun shining bright overhead. Lunch break was almost over so I headed back for class a little early.
"Oh, s-sorry!" The girl that ran into me muttered as she picked herself off the ground after falling.
"Erm, no I should be, er, be apologising. You, er, you okay?" I stuttered as she dusted herself off.
"Yeah, I'm fine!" She smiled warmly at me. I stood there dumbly, feeling a blush creeping on to my cheeks as I stared at her face.
"Erm, you're Yoshitaro-kun right?" She asked with a smaller, more earnest grin.
"And you're Kousaka-san?" I replied with a question as I noticed her orange hair.
"Yeah!-" She started saying something.
"Honoka-chan!" A greyish-brown haired girl came running down the corridor, panting a little, cut her off.
"Yeah Kotori-chan?" Honoka turned around.
"We gotta get to gym class!" Kotori panted.
"Yeah! I was just on my way!" Honoka grabbed Kotori's arm and ran off towards the gym.
Oh… Great… I got gym with them… I started running after them as well. Gym class was just horrible. We had to do stretches in pairs, and I was literally the odd one what, being a guy and the class having an odd number of students. The actual lesson wasn't much better as I outshone the girls in the obstacle course what being being slightly physically stronger and fitter. How is that bad you ask? The dark-blue haired girl who came in second wasn't too thrilled.
"Umi-chan! That's an incredible time!" Honoka squealed as squeal-ly as she could whilst catching her breath.
"It's not that big a deal." Umi blushed a little.
"Yes it is Umi-chan! I'm nowhere that fast!" Honoka gushed again.
"Yoshitaro-kun, you're the only one who hasn't run the course." The teacher announced.
And with that everyone else in class turned their attention to me. I readied myself at the starting line.
"And go!" The teacher shouted.
I took off, clearing the hurdles in three successful leaps. I heard a few gasps as I jumped at the wall and vaulted myself over in one motion. Some whispers and more gasps. Alternating my legs through the tire field, I cleared the course in the shortest time.
"Impressive. You don't look like an athletic type at all." The teacher, I guess, praised me.
"Woah! Yoshitaro-kun! That's amazing!" Honoka beamed cheerily.
"Erm, thanks." I muttered as I saw Umi turning away from me and basically everyone else giving me weird looks.
The rest of the day didn't go too well as Honoka started talking to me a little more.
"See ya tomorrow Ijiu-kun!" Honoka waved cheerily as she headed off with Umi and Kotori.
"Yeah, see ya." I waved a little as I headed home myself.
I wasn't expecting to come back tomorrow though. I mean I'm sure I should be transferred out by tomorrow. I was in for a horrible surprise when I got home though.
"WHAT?" I choked in surprise as my mom told me the craziest news of my life.
"Well, they just hit the student quota with that mess up in the system. So I told the principal you would continue studying there." My mom repeated herself.
"Mom! That's a girls school! I can't study at a girls school!" I objected.
"Look, if you really want to transfer out, the school will have to close down." She shrugged.
"That's… It's that bad?" I had a sick feeling in my gut.
"The principal doesn't quite like it, but she doesn't want the school to close down either, so she's hoping this compromise can keep the school from closing down. But it's your call." My mom said quietly.
"I… I guess… I'm gonna regret staying aren't I?" I killed myself a countless number of times in my head for saying that.
"Well, I'll let the principal know." My mom smiled at me.
I was not looking forward to the second day of school…
"Due to some special circumstances, Yoshitaro-kun will be studying with us. I do hope everyone will treat him nicely and try to get along with him." Minami-sensei announced as I stood on stage awkwardly.
"That's all there is for today, please head back to your classes now." Minami-sensei finished her address as I joined my class and headed back to class.
School went by painfully slow. Honoka made it slightly more unbearable as she kept trying her best to be really friendly. I was in for a somewhat nasty encounter during lunch break.
"Yoshitaro?" A blonde haired girl called out to me.
"Erm, yeah?" I replied nervously as I saw another purple haired girl behind her. They looked kinda familiar.
"I don't fully understand the situation that is allowing you to study here, but I so much as receive one complaint about you and I will see to it that you get expelled. We clear?" The blonde eyed me down.
"Y-yeah…" I gulped. Right, she's running for student council president isn't she. Or was she already? I didn't pay attention to that poster on the notice board.
"Good." She turned and walked off.
"Just keep your nose clean and you'll be fine." The purple haired girl gave me a friendly smile.
"Erm, okay." I nodded shyly as she followed after the blonde haired girl. Shit. They were senpais weren't they? I didn't acknowledge that.
"Ijiu-kun!" I heard a cheery voice call out.
"Oh hey Honoka." I gave a weak smile as I noticed her two friends flanking her.
"Wanna eat together?" She smiled earnestly as her two friends had nervous expressions on their faces.
"Erm, it's fine. I got something I gotta do right now." I lied and headed for the roof.
"Okay then." She said from behind me and I heard two soft sighs.
Lunch passed by rather slowly as I thought about what might life would be like this next three years…
"That won't do." I muttered in frustration as I crumpled my essay.
It's been a year since I've started high school and we suddenly got this assignment. We were supposed to write an essay of our first days in high school. Like, what the heck? How am I supposed to write anything decent about those few days? I stared blankly into space. My phone started ringing.
"Hello?" I answered without paying attention to the caller ID.
"Ijiu-kun! How's your essay coming along?" I heard Honoka's cheery voice coming from the other end.
"Okay, I guess." I lied.
"Really? Aw… Geez even you got something?" Honoka whined and I imagined her slumping over her table.
"W-why?" I asked apprehensively.
"I was thinking maybe if you hadn't yet we could brainstorm about something together." She sighed.
"We still could. I mean I've got a little something but I'm not sure how to continue." I made up an excuse.
"Really? Yay! Umi-chan refused to help me and she even told Kotori-chan to let me do this on my own too! She's such a meanie right?" I imagined Honoka pouting about Umi.
"Erm, yeah- Oh I got an incoming call. Hold on Honoka." I suddenly got another call.
"Hello?" I greeted, again not checking the caller ID.
"Ijiu-kun, are you helping Honoka-chan with her homework?" I heard Umi's terse voice.
"N-no! W-what makes you say that?" I stammered uneasily.
I became friends with Umi and Kotori eventually too. I mean, how could I not when Honoka kept being so friendly? Well, I kinda made friends with everyone in class I guess. But that's besides the point right now. The point is Umi can become really scary when she's upset or angry or when someone does something she says not to do.
"I just had this feeling Honoka might call you for help. She has to do this herself so don't help her with it. At all." Umi ordered, sounding very scary.
"Y-yeah. S-sure. I'll tell her no if she calls." I felt a cold bead of sweat trail down my spine.
"Good. If I find out you helped her…" Umi left her threat unfinished.
"Y-yeah, gotcha." I replied nervously to a severed line.
"Honoka?" I checked if Honoka was still on the other line.
"Who was it?" I heard her cheery voice.
"Erm. Umi." I said quietly.
"Oh…" Honoka's voice came just as quiet.
"I'm sorry." I offered weakly.
"Umi-chan you meanie!" Honoka grumbled.
"Well I think I'd better get back to work. You should too Honoka." I muttered.
"Yeah… Thanks anyways Ijiu-kun." Honoka sighed dejectedly.
"See ya tomorrow I guess." I said.
"Yeah, see ya." Honoka said dejectedly, hanging up the call.
"Back to the drawing board I guess." I muttered to myself.
"Onii-chan!" My little sister, Saki, barged into my room.
"What is it Saki?" I sighed worried. My little sister always had a neck for getting me into all sorts of trouble.
Like the first time she came to meet me after school to drag me to go shopping with her. I say shopping but it's more like her buying all sorts of things and getting me to carry them. So I guess she drags me along to be her maid of sorts.
"Onii-chan! Why aren't there any cute guys in your school?" She had asked as a greeting when she saw me.
"Shut up Saki." Was my reply.
"You meanie! I'm telling mum when we get home!" She had pouted.
"I don't care." I grumbled.
"Oh! Is that your little sister Ijiu-kun?" Honoka ran up to me.
"G-girl! T-talking to Onii-chan! A-are you his girlfriend?" Saki had blurted.
"Yes Honoka. And no Saki we are leaving." I quickly grabbed my little sister by the ear and pulled her away.
"Erm, bye?" I heard Honoka slightly confused as I dragged my little sister away.
Next day was slightly less than fun. And by slightly less, I mean not at all.
"YOU ARE GOING OUT WITH HONOKA?" Umi hollered at the top of her lungs and shook my shoulders when we met at the school gate.
"What?" Was all I could manage as she shook the living daylights out of me.
"Who's going out with me?" Honoka smiled innocently.
"W-we heard you and Ijiu-kun were going out Honoka-chan." Kotori gave a weak smile.
"W-WHAT?" Honoka shrieked at the top of her lungs.
"Some students said they heard Honoka was your girlfriend Ijiu! Explain!" Umi wouldn't stop the shaking and my world had become complete fuzziness.
"Umi-chan! I think Ijiu-kun's stopped breathing!" Kotori yelped as my head lulled. I was way dizzy and a little nauseous.
"I-Ijiu!" Umi let go of me as I collapsed onto the ground.
"I see stars…" I muttered incoherently as I lay on the ground.
"Ijiu! Explain yourself!" Umi insisted as I barely registered what she said.
"H-huh?" Was all I could manage.
"Honoka! When did you two start going out?" I heard Umi turn her attention to Honoka.
"We didn't! We aren't! What are you guys talking about?" I heard Honoka denying.
"Well, some students heard a little girl mentioning Honoka as Ijiu's girlfriend yesterday." Umi said.
Yesterday? Didn't Saki come down yesterday? That little brat running her mouth like that.
"Oh yeah, Ijiu's little sister did say something like that." Honoka thought out loud.
"Ijiu-kun's… Little sister?" Kotori asked, slightly confused.
"Yeah! Ijiu-kun's little sister came by to wait for him yesterday! He didn't introduce me to her properly though.." Honoka pouted as my vision and hearing finally came back to me.
"S-so Ijiu's little sister misunderstood something?" Umi was pretty relieved.
"Yeah. She did." I finally spoke up as my world stopped shaking.
"I'm sorry for doubting you Honoka!" Umi hugged Honoka.
"Me too Honoka-chan!" Kotori joined the hug.
"What about me?" I asked, looking for an apology.
"What about you?" Umi gave me a glare of hatred.
"N-never mind." I backed up a few steps.
The rest of the day consisted of Umi throttling me whenever Honoka said something to me, the student council president giving me warning about harassing the girls, and everyone else in class going me weird looks. But that only lasted a day as Saki came by again after school. She saw the dark cloud above my head and asked me what was wrong. Before I could answer, Honoka showed up with Umi and Kotori. Saki said something really dumb. Umi throttled her a little bit before Kotori pulled her away. Umi then demanded an apology from Saki. She apologised and explained why she made those really dumb assumptions. Umi, Kotori and Honoka all had a good laugh after hearing Saki's story. I dragged her home by the ear again.
"I got some things I want to buy from Akihabara!" Saki's voice cut through my flashback.
"I'm busy, go away." I replied tersely. I was not in the mood to entertain my sister whilst I had homework on my hands.
"Onii-chaaaaaaaaan!" She grabbed my arm and clinged to it.
"Get off. I got homework." I swung her off, almost dislocating my arm. She is kinda heavy and very clingy.
"You bully! I'm telling mom!" Saki groaned as she rubbed her bum.
"MOM! Saki's disturbing me! I can't do my work!" I hollered as loud as I could.
"Saki! Leave your brother alone!" Mom's reply came.
"Onii-chan you meanie!" Saki pout as she stalked out of my room. My phone rang again.
"Hello?" I answered it without looking at caller ID.
"Erm, Ijiu-kun? It's Kotori." I was pretty surprised.
"Yeah, what's up?" I asked, actually curious as to why she called.
"How's your, erm, essay coming along?" She chuckled nervously.
"Erm… Not very good?" I admitted sheepishly.
"You wanna brainstorm together?" I imagined a shy smile on her face.
"Yeah su- Oh incoming call hold on Kotori." I answered the incoming call.
"Hello?" I greeted for the goodness knows how many time tonight.
"Uh, Ijiu. Umi here." Umi's voice came over.
"Er, I really didn't help Honoka." I blurted defensively.
"Actually, I kinda need some help…" Umi admitted sheepishly.
"Oh…" Wait… What? Is Umi really asking for help on homework? There's a first time for everything I guess.
"How much have you written?" I imagined Umi being all shy and quiet-like.
"Not much act- Erm got a call." I answered the call.
"Hello?" Ok, way déjà vu now.
"Ijiu-kun please help me!" Honoka's voice came squealing over.
"I- Hold on." I put all the calls into a conference.
"Alright, brainstorming time. All of us." I said, a little worn out.
"All of us?" The three of them asked at the same time.
"Eh? Kotori-chan? Umi-chan?" "Eh? Kotori? Honoka?" "Eh? Umi-chan? Honoka-chan?" The three gasped at the same time.
"Umi-chan! I can explain!" Honoka whimpered.
"You don't really have the right to-" I started to say but Umi cut me off.
"Let's just… Let's just brainstorm already." I imagined Umi balling her fists in frustration.
And so we wrote four essays that complemented each other. Sort of. It's confusing. But we finished our work. And yes, I sorta became really close friends with Honoka, Kotori and Umi. How? Well…
"Are you free this weekend Ijiu-kun?" Honoka asked me one afternoon, as everyone was packing up after classes ended.
"Erm, I guess? Why?" I cocked an eyebrow.
"Could you come over to my house on Saturday?" Honoka smiled.
"What?" I blinked in surprise.
"Honoka's parents run a Japanese sweet shop and they were inviting her friends over this weekend to sample some of their recent works." Umi explained.
"O-oh. Erm, I don't know." Umi and Kotori seemed to be uncomfortable with the idea of me going.
"C'mon! It'll be fun, I promise!" Honoka smiled cheerily.
"Erm…" Umi and Kotori really didn't seem comfortable at all.
"Thanks for the invitation but I think I'll pass." I finally decided. I really wasn't interested in getting myself into some kind of really awkward situation.
"What? Why?" Honoka pouted a little. Umi and Kotori seemed slightly more relaxed.
"Er…" I shrugged, not knowing what to say.
"Umi-chan, Kotori-chan! Tell him it'll be fun!" Honoka suddenly turned to her friends.
"EH?" Umi gasped in shock.
"Uh, you should, er, you should come Ijiu-kun." Kotori muttered quietly.
"Kotori-chan! That's doesn't sound like it'll be fun at all." Honoka pouted.
"Er…" Kotori cowered a little.
"Umi-chan!" Honoka pouted.
"Uh, just come Ijiu, it'll be fun." Umi whispered.
"Umi-chan! That doesn't sound any more fun than when Kotori-chan said it!" Honoka kept her pouting.
"Hey Honoka, it's not that I don't believe it will be fun. It's, er, I, er, don't want to make things awkward…" I admitted sheepishly.
"Why would things be awkward?" Honoka asked cheerily.
"Well, er, I'm very awkward?" I shrugged, trying to avoid eye contact with the three of them.
"No, you're not! You're a pretty cool dude." Honoka smiled warmly.
"Y-yeah Ijiu. Just, erm, just come." Umi said shyly, twiddling her fingers.
"Eh?" I was a little shocked by the sudden change of heart.
"Y-yeah Ijiu-kun. It won't be awkward." Kotori gave a weak smile.
"So will you come?" Honoka beamed cheerfully.
"Erm… Okay…" I replied uncertainly.
"Here's the address!" Honoka gave me a slip of paper.
"Okay, thanks…" I accepted it shyly.
The rest of the week went by rather incident-less-ly. Till Friday at least.
"So you're coming tomorrow right?" Honoka asked me as we were packing our bags after school.
"Y-yeah. Why'd you ask?" I gave a weak smile.
"Oh nothing! I was just reminding you." Honoka smiled cheerily.
"Er, okay." I raised an eyebrow.
I noticed Umi and Kotori shifting uncomfortably. Did she want to make sure I wouldn't chicken out or something? Saturday came. I stood outside the shop, not sure if I really wanted to be here or not. Just as I was about to turn and leave.
"Ijiu-kun! I was wondering when you were coming! Come on in!" Honoka's cheery voice came from the shop behind me.
"Er, yeah. Okay." I headed into the shop.
"Oh, is this the boy you keep talking about?" A lady whom I assumed was Honoka's mom asked her.
"Mmhmm! This is Ijiu-kun! He's the only boy in school!" Honoka introduced me.
"Er, Yoshitaro Ijiu, nice to meet you ma'am." I bowed a little.
"Hi Ijiu-kun, I'm Honoka's mom. Glad to make your acquaintance." She smiled warmly.
"Umi-chan and Kotori-chan are already waiting in my room! C'mon!" Honoka pulled me upstairs to her room.
"Now that everyone's here, I'll go get the sweets!" Honoka announced gleefully.
Umi, Kotori and I sat in awkward silence after she left the room. We never really talked much in school. Honoka was the one always talking to me. So I wasn't too sure what I should be talking about with Umi and Kotori. Not that I knew what to talk about with Honoka, but she was always talking about one thing or another so I didn't really needed to think up some kind of conversation topic.
"We're sorry." Umi and Kotori suddenly said.
"H-huh?" I was completely in shock.
"We, er, we weren't being too nice about making friends with you. And we'd like to apologise." They said in unison again.
"Er, it's, erm, no big deal." I shrugged.
"We'd like a do-over?" Did they practice this?
"Erm, okay?" A do-over? Like how?
"I'm Sonoda Umi, nice to meet you." Umi extended her hand.
"I'm Yoshitaro Ijiu, nice to meet you too." I shook her hand.
"I'm Minami Kotori, nice to meet you!" Kotori smiled and extended her hand as well.
"I'm Yoshitaro Ijiu, nice to meet you too." I shook her hand. This was kind of weird. Wait a minute…
"Minami Kotori? Like Minami-sensei? You're her daughter?" I gulped.
"Yeah, I kinda said it when I was doing my self-introduction?" Kotori giggled a little.
"Oh, I kinda wasn't paying too much attention to that." I admitted sheepishly.
"Hehe it's okay." Kotori smiled warmly. Just then, Honoka returned with the sweets.
"Er, let me help." I got up and took one of the trays she was carrying.
"Thank you!" She smiled as she set the tray on the table. I set the other tray down too.
"Help yourselves! And give me some feedback I can pass to my dad." Honoka grinned as she stared at us.
"Wow, this anpan is really sweet." Umi said while chewing a piece of anpan.
"Yeah, this chinsuko is really good too!" Minami said with her mouth half full of chinsuko.
"I've never actually had one before, but this imagawayaki is amazing." I took a big mouthful of imagawayaki.
"Really? Dad will be so happy to hear!" Honoka smiled warmly as we ate the sweets.
We all tried a bit of everything and soon we had finished everything. It was extremely delicious and quite surprisingly filling.
"I am stuffed." I let out a burp.
"Er, 'scuse me." The three girls started laughing. Umi burped.
"Excuse me." She blushed in embarrassment. Kotori and Honoka laughed even harder. I bit my lips and tried to hold it back. Honoka let out a pretty loud burp.
"Whoopsie…" She scratched her head and Kotori started tearing while Umi burst into laughter. I chuckled a little. Kotori let out a really small burp.
"Pardon me." She smiled embarrassingly.
"That was so cute!" Honoka hugged Kotori.
Then we all just started giggling and it slowly became a full blown laugh fest. We just sat there and laughed. And laughed. And laughed. And then we all ran out of breath and started wheezing and panting.
"Oh… That was fun right Ijiu-kun?" Honoka sat up straight after rolling about on the ground in laughter just now.
"Hehe yeah." I wiped a tear from my eye. It hadn't been too awkward at all this entire time.
"Okay, now that we've had our fun, let's start on work!" Umi suddenly said taking some homework out from her bag.
"What? You can't do that Umi-chan!" Honoka objected.
"Why not? Since we're all here we might as well right?" Umi placed the trays on the floor and put her homework on the table.
"But I didn't bring mine Umi-chan." Kotori smile weakly.
"Er, neither did I." I shrugged.
"Did you guys seriously just come here for fun?" Umi stared at us.
"Umi-chan, we still have tomorrow to do work." Kotori smiled weakly.
"Yeah Umi-chan! Let's just play today! Oh oh! I got it!" Honoka suddenly stood up.
"What did you get?" Umi asked apprehensively.
"Ijiu-kun could push us all really high on the swings!" Honoka smile at me.
"Eh, what?" And with that, I was dragged along to the playground to become the official swing pusher for them.
The rest of the day went by rather quickly as we goofed off at one place or another. And that was how I became part of their clique. By goofing off with them and being their official swing pusher from then on. Yeah.
"Onii-chan! Wake up!" A loud voice cut through my flashback dream.
"Buh?" I yawned and rubbed my eyes.
"Get up and prepare for school already!" Saki's voice interrupted my daydreams of open grassy fields and cool breezes blowing while I laid there napping.
"Huh? Oh." I got up from my study table. Wait, study table? Oh wow. I fell asleep doing work. Huh.
"…" I heard something coming from my phone lying on my table. I put it to my ear.
"You guys still here?" Honoka's sleepy voice came over.
"Yeah we forgot to hang up huh." I heard Umi's groggy voice.
"Ahn…" Kotori yawned.
"How late did we stay up?" I asked groggily.
"Iunno." Honoka said in a yawn.
"Well, at least we finished our work right.?" I imagined Kotori smiling.
"Yeah, I guess. But we'd better get ready for school. We can talk then." Umi said, all serious again.
"Yeah, see ya guys later!" Honoka said cheerily.
"Mhmm. See you guys later!" Kotori said as well.
"See you guys later." I yawned. Everyone hung up.
I went to brush my teeth while Saki was taking a shower. I stepped into the bath after she was done. I grabbed my breakfast and headed out.
"I'm heading out!" I called out as I headed for school. And yet another day of my weird, crazy, honestly kinda stupid high school life begins.
A/N: And that's waaaaaaaaaaaay too long a first chapter. But backstory right? Yeah I know. I'm already prepared for all the hate reviews on how dumb this Fic will be. Also, no. Before any one asks, my OC will not be in Muse. He'll be a supporting character to Muse but he ain't performing. I mean, duh. Why would a guy want to be a school idol, not that he can be a good one… Yeah my OC is there for laughs, giggles and muscle work. Where applicable of course. I don't know where I'm going with this note so I'll end it before it gets too long or too weird. Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed, and stay tuned for the next retarded instalment! Not because Love Live! is retarded but because I am for starting this Fic… Anyway, bye!
