A/N: Hey guys. This is a request by a friend, so I hope she likes it. I hope you all like it too! ~velvie
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
Jade's POV
"Today's your big day" I told my little sister. It wasn't like she didn't already know; I just needed to voice the fact. I think I'm more nervous then she is.
"I'm know, Jade." She sighed. Only a few more hours until her big moment. We stayed silent as I did the finishing touches to her make-up. This might be the only time Artemis allowed me to put make-up on her, so I wanted to make sure she looked beautiful. I did a good job; she was stunning. Once she was in her dress she would no doubt be the most beautiful person in the world today.
"I hope you appreciate this." I said as I turned the chair so she could see herself in the mirror. The little gasp that escaped her mouth confirmed to me that she liked it.
"It's wonderful." she breathed and stood up to hug me. "Thank you."
"Well I couldn't let my little sister look anything but beautiful on her big day." I purred. Artemis and I don't always get along, but we're still sisters.
Roy's POV
"Will you stay still, Wally!" I yelled. I get that he was nervous but a nervous speedster is just about the worst thing I can think of, with impatient squirming and foot tapping at 100mph.
"I'm trying! I'm just… nervous. I don't know why, she's already said yes. I'm just nervous." Wally replied, hanging his head a little. I placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"I've been there, and I was nervous, as you probably remember. Just relax, everything's gonna be fine." I tried to give good advice to the guy I've always thought of as a younger brother.
"Thanks man. I knew I made a good decision when I said you and Dick could be my best men. Where is he, anyway?" Wally's words made me smile. It's nice to know that even though we didn't always see eye to eye, we're still great friends. I thought about Dick, who I also consider to be a little brother of mine.
"I dunno. Knowing him, he could be anywhere." I laughed. I helped Wally straighten his bow tie, as it had gotten wonky from all his squirming. I hope today goes well for him and Artemis. The door flew open and I jumped back in surprise.
"Sorry I'm late. I had a few… errands to run." Dick apologised. I'm not going to question him about what errands could be so important. Dick's a strange guy in a strange world. At least he came in his suit. The church bells sounded and I knew we had to get moving.
"Come on, let's get this show on the road!" I called out, opening the door and gesturing for the guys to move. As we got in to the church, I saw so many familiar faces – and some not so familiar. We all walked up the aisle and got in to position, waiting for the bridal party. Memories of my own wedding came flooding back.
A/N: I know this chapter was pretty short, but I just needed to get it started. I'll try to make the next few chapters better. Review! ~velvie
