Chapter 1: The Meeting
Once upon a clichéd fantasy time, four people who literally had coloured names were casually walking at their village's plaza.
"And then he said, 'I'mma bust your butt 'til you die,'" said Blue to the other guys who didn't seem to care at all. "Then I said, 'Nope, you can never do that. I am the legendary Blue, so I'll just bust your balls with my Pokémon.'"
Red remained silent for the whole time. He didn't care much about Blue's babbling, as he is his rival after all (with romantic relations, ohoho). He tried to keep himself from laughing, but to no avail, he failed, chuckling out loud. This made Yellow, a girl with the sun hat that hides the beautiful flowing blonde hair, blush a little. Red noticed her and she immediately turned her head away.
"You know I saw that, right?" he said while he chuckled a little. "Regardless, though, you're still cute."
Those words made Yellow blush even more and immediately cling onto Green's arm.
"What is it, Yellow?" Green asked, still annoyed by the presence of Blue. "Is there something wrong, dear?"
"Uh, not at all, Green," Yellow replied, still blushing.
Green patted her head and said, "That's okay. We're nearing the magic shop."
'I was not really talking about that nor did I think about that,' she muttered.
"What was that, Yellow?" Green asked.
"Oh, it's nothing," she said with a nervous smile.
It was quite unusual for the blonde girl to be flustered and annoyed at the same time, but when she does, she becomes pretty unstable and uncomposed. As anyone would know (and you, reader, should know this), she was the kind of girl with the gentle heart, with her special ability healing all of the Pokémon that she had seen injured, which was the reason why Professor Oak called her "The Healer".
Going back, Blue was still blabbering about the interesting nonsense bragging he was saying earlier. Red didn't listen to him anymore as it got too weird. He didn't really consider his best friend's (or boyfriend's) stories to be true since it was not credible enough to be real, which is ironic because this is a fantasy world where literally anything can happen.
Suddenly, Red realized something. "Why the hell are we in a different world?"
He looked at the sky and saw a face staring at them. Shocked, he fell onto his back. "Ouchies!"
The others saw him fall.
"What's wrong, Red?" Yellow asked. "Is it the heat or do you have a cold?"
Red simply shook his head and shakily pointed at the sky.
They all looked up and were surprised to see the face on the sky. The face was pale and blank, except two holes that seemed to be its eyes. Hair seemed to not exist on the face. It seemed, in conclusion, a mask.
"Ugh, I hate these dramatic clichés," the face at the sky said. "Stand up and don't act like you're all going to get eaten. I don't eat humans."
Blue looked like he was in hell. "But you look like you're going to eat us!" said Blue in a girly tone. Odd.
"Oh, quit acting like a girl, Blue," the face said, looking really annoyed.
"Before you ask any questions," it continued, "you are all here in the fantasy world because I'm an author of a terrible fanfiction and that fantasy world is in this fanfiction..."
"But why a terrible fanfiction?" Green butted in.
"Why not?"
Green looked irritated and said, "Of course, that's what you'll answer." She put her arms on her waists and stared at it, regaining her composition.
"Anyway," the face continued. "I wrote this fanfic last 2015 and it ended up being really disastrous, despite the fact that I have a good editor." There was a quiet cough from afar, although nobody paid any attention to it.
"So, please help me end this suffering."
They were all not shocked anymore, except for Yellow, who is quite the scaredy-cat. She clung to Green's arm and refused to look up at the face for fear of being 'eaten'.
"Okay, okay," said the face on the sky. "I'll come down as a real human."
And the face disappeared from the sky and became a human on land. They stood up from their feet while Yellow was helped by Red to stand up.
"Uh, thanks Red," she said, looking down as she dusted her clothes, blushing more than before.
"Sure thing, Yellow," Red replied then chuckled. "You look cuter now."
As the face turned into a real person, he dusted off his fantasy mage clothes and said, "Anyway, my name's Mark. A pretty generic name."
"Oh, hi, Mark," Blue said in the same way like how Tommy Wiseau said that line in a certain movie.
The others replied, "Nice to meet you."
It was time for Red to speak. "So… what do you want us to do?" Blue nodded in agreement, and Yellow tugged on Green's arm.
"Make love and happiness!"
A raven-haired elf landed down gracefully by Mark's side, wearing some coordination of a green and brown sleeveless shirt and black shorts with markings. A plain brown cloak and a pair of above knee-length black boots with gold trimmings finished the suit. She smiled at them. "Well, maybe not that kind, but the kind of kid-friendly entertainment that the superior beasts read."
Blue smirked and chuckled mischievously. "Make love."
Green elbowed Blue at his stomach which made him squirm in pain. She remained looking like a sassy bitch as she is.
"Anyway, let me introduce her," Mark announced. "She is my editor. I had a crush on her in the seventh grade but she rejected me, kind of."
The four remained silent, but Blue was still succumbing to the pain.
"She doesn't really talk much, but as you've heard, she has a pretty cute voice."
Red had this look in his eyes like he wants to rape the editor. Green then elbowed him hardly. He didn't feel much pain, but that distinctive elbow made it pretty numb at first.
The elf coughed lightly. "I-I didn't reject him!" she said. "It's a kind of a complicated matter, and as you can see, I am a child. Elves mature after a century or something." She glanced at Red. "So, even if I admire you and Blue, I could never go out with you because it'd be considered pedophilia in the elven community."
"Anyway, as you can see," she continued, "you are currently living in a fantasy world. That's nice, very nice, and because you are living in that world, you have to adhere to the rules of that world."
"What about it?" Blue asked.
"Oh, you'll see," Mark said, smirking and rubbing his hands together, like he's some kind of villain.
And the elf elbowed Mark. "No."
A/N (5-26-18): Hey, it's me, the author! So, I decided to rewrite my first and (so far) only fanfiction. The one I wrote back in 2015 was utterly terrible and cringy since I was just twelve at the time and my writing skills have not developed well yet. I think that's the reason why no one had put this fanfic on their favorites and/or followed stories. Well, the revision is now more decent and it is now longer with about a thousand words. Yay!
Before I forget, I would like to thank DarklightBlue so much for being my editor for this fanfic. She wrote some additional stuff here and I consider her as the co-author of this work! Also, I'll be deleting the old versions of the chapters for a while so I can rewrite them.
So, yeah, that's all!
