So... If you have read ALL of Allegiant, which I highly suggest you do, otherwise this will ruin the book for you, then you know the aching sadness that I am feeling right now. I bought the book yesterday, getting ready to read the first page, so excited that Tobias and Tris would FINALLY get their happy ending and be together forever. No, that didn't happen. Tris was shot because she took the place of her good-for-nothing brother, Caleb. And Tobias, (the only fiction human character I have loved except for Shane Collins from MV) is left alone. Am I the only one who thought it was kinda cheap that Veronica Roth seemed to be pushing Christina and Tobias together even before Tris died? I liked Christina a lot more than I had in the past books, but I still can't see Tobias with anyone except Tris. And while I want him to be happy, (because I am an awesome person like that) I think Tris is the only one for him.
The reason I am writing this, is because I really wanted to talk about how much this upset me.
I have been thinking of writing a new story called Holding on to tomorrow.
It's going to explore what would happen when Tobias finally moved on from Tris. His love interest will be OC, because I don't want to have him get with Christina. What do ya'll think?
