"Amu-chan… Amu-chan I need some help with my homework." Of courses I really didn't. My parents have given me everything I needed to be successful in life. Tutors were flown in from France and even the States to give me the best education known to man, but Amu-chan didn't need to know that. All I wanted to do was spend more time with her. Ever since White Day, when something obviously happened between her and Tadase, she'd been ignoring me more and more only to spend time with him. She isn't even supposed to be with him. It doesn't fit; the joker is meant to be with someone outside of our group, but I wasn't going to tell her that.
It seemed as though she hadn't heard my question because she would never ignore me. I repeated the question a bit louder but then I noticed she seemed to be in her own little world. I felt my shoulders slump but then Kusu-Kusu came up to me and started doing her little gag. I couldn't help but laugh. But still I was sad. Amu was the first person to treat me like an actual person and now she's not here. Exactly like my parents. I knew I couldn't trust her but… I'm being ridiculous. Amu at least still talks to me.
A shrill bell ended our Guardian's meeting and we headed off to class with Nikaidou-sensei. Amu and Tadase were further than us, talking animatedly while a very visible blush was seen on both faces. I wonder what they were talking about.
"Bye guys. I'll see you after class". Yaya gave each of us a brief hug before strolling into her class. She seemed perfectly content with who she was and I couldn't imagine why. Her babyish attitude got a bit annoying at times although it served as a wonderful tension breaker after we hear about Easter's newer schemes.
I was left to my thoughts as Tadase and Amu, along with our other classmates, rushed into the classroom hoping that maybe that they wouldn't be seen sneaking in. The second bell rang leaving me and the new Jack in the halls.
