I wrote this to bug my friend, known on fanfiction.net as Anya and on her website as Cricket. I'm Katya and she's Anya. The basis of this is that there are rocketshippers in the Pokeworld just like here. This is only very loosely based on reality.

Katya and her friend Anya were sitting in the shade during lunch at their High School with their friends.

"Wouldn't be cool of we were Team Rocket?" Katya said to Anya. Everyone else groaned and ignored them.

"But we don't have funny hair or matching names," Anya protested, always pratical, "and one of us would have to be a guy."

"There could be an all-girl Team Rocket. And we could change our names, and my hair is already funny looking, and I was planning on dying it anyway."

"What could we change our names to?"

"Well, we could be Thelma and Louise, but those are gross names."

"How about Annie and Oakley?"

"I refuse to be Oakley; it's a guy's name."

"What about Calamity and Jane?"

"It's not too bad. I'm Calamity."

"We need a motto."

Katya rolled her eyes. "Like I haven't come up with a million before."

"So, what?"

"Gimme a second." Katya thought. "Okay here goes.

"Prepare for trouble

"Make it double

"To prevent the universe's devastation

"To protect the universe's peace

"To unite all peoples in every nation

"To always evade the police-"

"That's dumb," Anya said.

"You come up with better!" Katya said. "Uh, um:

"The lovely, charming girls:

"Calamity

"Jane

"Team Rocket - something - something - some

"A white hole waiting for a white day.

"Okay!"

"Something-something-some?"

"I couldn't come up with a rhyme!"

"Whatever. Think up some more and when you come over tomorrow we'll compare notes."

"Fine. But we need uniforms," Katya said.

"We can make some."

"No we can't. Last time your shirt looked retarded."

"It did not!"

"We could mug Jesse and James and take theirs."

"Or Butch and Cassidy."

"I don't want to be in black squad."

"But they get beat up less."

"But more severely."

"Besides, where are they?"

"Oh. I know, when we meet we'll go to a thrift store and see if we can find stuff."

"Fine."

"So what are we going to do first?" Jane said.

"We could hold up the school!" Calamity said.

"With what?"

"We could hold up a store and get some food."

"What about pokemon?"

"Well I have a rattata."

"I mean about stealing them!"

"Stealing is wrong."

"We're Team Rocket!"

"Let's hold up the Pokecenter!"

"I get one more than you."

"Why?"

"You have a rattata!"

"When?"

"Tomorrow!"

"'Kay."

The next night Jane and Calamity put on their uniforms and biked to the Pokecenter. Calamity snuck into the back and cut the power.

"Let's go!"

Inside flashlights flicked on. Jane and Calamity snuck in.

"Prepare for trouble," Calamity started.

"Make it double!"

The flashlights flicked around and finally settled on them.

"Hand over the pokemon!" a voice said.

"You hand them over!" Jane said.

"Who the hell are you?"

"We're Team Rocket!"

"No, we're Team Rocket!"

"Then how come you haven't said your motto?" Calamity said sensibly.

"We don't have one."

"Then you aren't Team Rocket!" Calamity and Jane shouted.

"Why'd the Boss tell you to hit here?"

"What boss?"

"You're just wannabes!" another voice said.

"Let's get out of here," Jane whispered.

"Yeah, sure, whatever," Calamity whispered back.

Back at Jane's house.

"Well, that was a complete failure," Calamity said.

"We need a secret hideout first."

"No, we need more pokemon!"

"C'mon, let's just go back to pretending."

"Why?"

"Cuz this is dangerous."

"Not if we don't get caught!"

"That would be the thing, wouldn't it?" Jane said sarcastically.

"Whatever. Do whatever you want."

"Fine. I quit. You can get killed or something if you want."

Anya never went back to the life of crime. Katya tried again occasionally over the years, was never caught, but never pulled off anything major.

Okay, the ending sucks, but it works.
