Emotion never betrays
Wishing for the end of this nightmare.
Calm, controlled surface.
Never showing what really goes on inside.
The whole world may be fooled
But I can see you clearly.
Even behind all your masks and barriers.
Behind the hair that hides your face
The cracked mask that conceals your soul
The eyes that never show your emotions.
And the metal suit that keeps you hidden from your enemies.
Behind all your masks and boundaries,
I can see the real you.
I can see the human you.
The one who feels.
Feels pain.
The pain from past memories.
But I know you can sense,
Or even feel the love.
The love that I am offering you.
To the world,
You are just an emotionless person.
Yet another perfect soldier.
Emotions never get in the way.
Feelings never blinding your judgement.
Always calm and rational.
Never fearing death.
Never fearing the end of your so loved life.
Show the world what you want,
But I'll always know the real you.
I'll always remember those dark green eyes.
When they stared at me with their intense gaze.
I will always remember the pure, innocent laughter
That rarely made it's way out into the open.
The perfect, rare smile that will forever be remembered in my mind.
Your heavenly touch will always be on my skin.
The warmth of your lips can never be forgotten.
Their sweet taste still radiates on my own.
Forever fresh, forever new.
The scent of your skin still floods my senses.
Although you may be the silent warrior
That I know.
You are still my only love.
With your sweet intentions,
Quiet words of kindness,
