A/N: I don't own Glee or The Beatles music. This is my first fic, so I'd love some reviews!
The banner across the entrance read: "Ohio State Music Fair!" Kurt glanced at Blaine. "Are you sure this will be fun?"
"Of course it will! We get to enjoy the fair and you can go to the stage and perform if you want. I'm sure members from different vocal groups will be here. But it's just a time to enjoy ourselves, have fun."
"We could have fun doing other things besides going to a fair."
"Come on Kurt, I come every year and always have a blast. There are all kinds of booths. To start off, we need to get some food. Follow me." They went to a food booth and ate. As they walked around the fair, Kurt started to loosen up and enjoy himself.
"Hey Kurt! Let's go over to the Ferris wheel now," Blaine said excitedly
"Alright. That sounds like fun," Kurt answered, linking arms with Blaine.
The loud speakers crackled to life. "In tribute this hour, we will play Beatles' music! Enjoy!" A Hard Day's Night sounded throughout the fair.
"Aww, I love the Beatles!" Blaine exclaimed.
"So do I!" retorted Kurt. They reached the line for the Ferris wheel when I Wanna Hold Your Hand started playing.
"Oh..." Kurt said and started looking around.
"What's wrong?" Blaine asked as they got on the ride.
"This song has a lot of... meaning to me is all. I sang it to my dad when he was in the hospital. This song has a lot of meaning to both of us," Kurt explained as they rose higher and higher into the sky.
"Would you oppose the idea of me singing the rest of the song as we ride?" Blaine asked.
"No, it's fine." They were nearing the top of the wheel.
"Oh, please, say to me
You'll let me be your man
and please, say to me
You'll let me hold your hand
Now let me hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
And when I touch you I feel happy, inside
It's such a feeling
That my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide," Blaine sang, frequently looking at Kurt. "That song sums up a lot of my feelings for you. In fact, a few Beatles' songs hold meaning to me about you in some way. Blackbird was the song you sang that made me realize how much I cared about you. Now I know that that song has a lot of meaning for you and your dad, but if you wouldn't mind, I really would like to hold your hand. And like I said the lyrics describe my feelings for you and I really do love you Kurt and..." Kurt looked Blaine in the eyes.
"I love you too Blaine. I have to agree with everything you said. The lyrics describe my feelings too. As far as I'm concerned, we can hold hands forever." Blaine smiled. He leaned towards Kurt and kissed him gently on his lips. Kurt grinned and the ride came to a stop. They got off the ride and walked towards the stage, hand in hand, with Love Me Do playing in the background.
"Just wait until we go on the wheel again tonight," Blaine said with a smile.
