Mother-Usagi's POV
LunarBard
Mother,
You sent me to Earth;
For another chance at life.
I lived it,
And much to contrary belief;
I know all along,
That I was your daughter.
I have always known.
When I saw Luna,
I saw your warm arms!
No one would ever understand,
How I felt,
When Luna didn't know me.
I hid behind the ditzy facade,
That has always hid,
My Lunarian heritage.
When the inner planets came to me,
Another pain of emotion hit.
For after all I hoped,
They knew me not.
My own COUSIN,
Had forgotten.
Even when they knew,
They did not remember.
They judged me,
With only what they thought -
They knew.
When my daughter came,
I fought for all I was worth,
To ensure her life,
My darling baby.
She knew me not,
But she was just a babe,
My frighten, brave child.
When it came to light,
That we were mother and daughter,
That I was a Queen,
They laughed with disbelief!
Oh, MOTHER!
When the outer ring came,
You can imagine,
My disbelief, my JOY,
At their remembrance.
They respected the princess,
They fought with the warrior,
They loved me as a friend.
They were true friends.
My "mask",
They laughed at,
"Oh, how clever."
And when my love would leave,
They were truely there.
Mother,
I thank you for another chance.
Soon I'll be Queen,
And maybe,
My inner court,
Will respect me.
But mommy,
I just wanted to tell you,
"I love you! ... And Mommy-
I MISS you."
