Summary: A mysterious shinigami comes to Light as he was dieing. Slight LightxL LxLight.
Light inhaled deeply and exhaled with a raspy sound to it. Light Yagami was dieing.
The SPK, the original investigative team lead by the late L and Mr. Yagmai, and his loyal follower Mikami. Ryuk stood before him and laughed suddenly he stopped and bowed.
"Ryuk. Stand away from him." A female voice shouted. Light looked above him. A girl in a white dress with white feathery wings and blonde hair. For once in his whole time knowing Ryuk he saw him obey.
"Light Yagami?" she said bending over him. And he knodded as best he could. "Nate River, do not be alarmed. I am here just for Kira." She walked over to the white haired boy. She bent down and encased him in a hug.
"L says good job and Micheel congratulates you. He said that it was you who truly did win." She left him and went over to the dieing "god." Light looked at her.
"Matsuda, when you shot him what were you thinking?"
"He's a fucking murderer!" He yelled as the tears kept streaming down his face.
"No, wrong you are a murderer. Taking the life of a God is murder."
"Mikami, you have earned your passage to the shinigami realm. Light, you of course have also. Nate, L wishes you the best of life, and Mello says not to forget him."
"Wait miss. Shinigami." Near yelled as she picked up Light.
"Yes?"
"what is your name?"
"Desired Devotion. Desire for short."
"Miss. Desire, Please if you don't mind, why is L in the shinigami realm?"
"He touched the death note, and he decided to stay there for his own purposes."
"Why are you there?"
"I had a death Note once but I wrote my name in my Note and gave it back to Ryuk. When I died I asked to become a shinigami, to follow my dearest but he left when he dropped his notebook out of boredom." She said and glared at Ryuk.
The investigation team shivered. "Now if you don't mind I must take Light back to the Shinigami realm. Come Ryuk" she said and they flied off.
"Light you have won." Near said.
"Light Yagami, L must love you a lot for pulling this many strings."
Before Lights ragged breathing stopped he smiled and whispered, "I love you Lawliet."
