Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto. That's an easy one. If I did own it, however, the story would be very much different.
This is my first fic, too. Go easy on me.
"Hey Naruto, do you remember what today is?" A voice asked Naruto, as he was calmly walking back home from a mission.
"Hm? Oh, it's you, Kakashi-Sensei." Naruto said, looking behind him. "And no, I actually don't know what today is."
Kakashi, who was Team 7's Jounin leader, slapped his forehead and said, "Naruto, today is Thanksgiving. You know, the day where all the shinobi in the village gather with their families and friends and celebrate..."
"Oh, yeah! I remember now!" Naruto said.
"Anyways, Naruto, I was going to invite you over to come eat with most of the other Genin" Kakashi said. "Just come to the Academy Rooftop, alright?" Kakashi disn't wait for an answer, because he knew Naruto would obviously accept, and quickly teleported toward Sasuke's house.
"Hmm... Sounds good! Free food!" Naruto thought to himself, as he walked home.
Later that night, Naruto walked over to the top of the Academy. He didn't eat lunch or even a snack, so he could eat nearly everything that was prepared. "I heard there was going to be a huge stuffed turkey!!!" Naruto thought, and didn't even notice he was drooling.
"Hey everyone, I'm here!" Naruto yelled out as he reached the Academy Rooftop. There, he saw a lot of long tables, and lots of fellow Genin sitting there.
"Hey idiot, you're really late" Sasuke called out, from the end of a table.
"Wait... How am I late?" Naruto asked, since he came exactly on time. Sure, he was a minute late, but this was the exact time Kakashi-sensei told him to show up.
"Did Kakashi-Sensei tell you the time? You know, he's always late." Sasuke said. "Now just get your idiotic ass over here so we can all eat. I'm hungry."
Naruto got angry. He always hated it when Sasuke called him an idiot. Naruto ran, and jumped all the way across the table. For a second, Sasuke looked stunned, but then his face returned to normal. Naruto paused for a second, and then realized he was frozen in mid-air.
"Hold it, idiot. We're all gonna eat, so just calm down..." Shikimaru said, holding Naruto in his Shadow Possesion. Suddenly, he dropped Naruto, and let him land face-first into a bowl of mashed potatoes.
"Ou...Ouch..." Naruto said, getting his face out of the bowl.
"Naruto, what are you thankful for?" Sakura asked, after Naruto's little incident. Occasionally, Naruto would shoot a *Death Glare* at his enemy as he was eating.
"Well, let's see... Ramen..." Naruto said "And.......... Yeah, that's it."
Everyone immediately stared at Naruto.
"Still a dork as always..."
And there you go. That's my first fic. So R&R. Don't give it a good rating, either. It doesn't deserve that XD
