Goblins Getting into Trouble Aboveground

Disclaimer: I do not own the Labyrinth, The Goblin King, or the goblins. I am merely borrowing them for this story.

One day while riding the subway, I heard a peculiar noise. I could not figure out where it was coming from. Several other passengers were looking around the train for they had heard the sound too.

Then a goblin peeked from under one seat that was empty. That goblin made a whistling sound through its mouth. Then other goblins showed up on the train ready to do some mischief. Some of the passengers were scared of the goblins, because of the way they looked. They even got more scared, and angry when the goblins started to touch them. The goblins tried to take their things, and their children. Then some of the passengers started to scream, and the children started to cry. This went on for about 15 minutes.

I had enough! I stood up, "Stop what you are doing now." I told them this in an authoritative voice.

It worked the goblins obeyed me. The passengers that were screaming, and crying stopped too. The goblins all stared at me amazed that they had listened to me. For I had reminded them of someone they knew. The Goblin King.

I said, "I wish that the Goblin King would come here right now."

The Goblin King showed up in all his finery. He was dressed all in black. Some of the women were giggling at the Goblin Kings unusual clothing, and some were looking at his leggings with a smile on their faces.

He faced his goblins, and asked them, "why they were here for?"

He also warned them it had to be a good answer, or they would be sent to the Bog of Eternal Stench.

One of the smarter goblins said that they wanted to see what a subway train was. They did not know that there would be humans on the train. Another goblin then said that they wanted to cause some mischief.

Jareth was not satisfied with those answers. He would be deal with them later. Now the goblins were scared at what Jareth would do to them once they got back to the Labyrinth. For they did not want to be sent to the Bog of Eternal Stench.

Jareth then turned to the humans and asked, "Who called me?"

"I called you your majesty. The goblins were getting into mischief." replied Maureen.

Jareth turned around, and with a crystal that he had formed. He threw the crystal at the goblins, then they all disappeared off the train. Jareth apologized for the trouble that the goblins caused.

Jareth told me, "You did the right thing in calling me. How did you get them to stop doing what they were doing before I was called?"

" I just told them to stop what they were doing and it worked. I was surprised that it worked." I said.

He thought to himself that there was someone else who could control his goblins.

Then he asked me, "How did you know who to called."

"I just knew you from the movie Labyrinth. I thought it would not hurt to try. I now know that you are real." I said.

"Thank you for believing in me." Jareth said.

Then Jareth disappeared from the train. I asked the other passengers if they were alright. They said that they were alright, and they were no longer scared of the goblins anymore.

When I got, home I told my family of my adventure. I do not think something will ever happen like this again.
