Okay, so it's been almost a year since I wrote any Red Dwarf fanfic. And this is me getting back into the swing of things again really. I'm sorry.

Don't listen to what they say. All that matters is us, shut them out. Blank their words out, they're not important.
They don't understand what we have; they just don't understand how strong this love is. They laugh, they snigger, they make fun, but at the end of the day, it's me and you. They'll never feel like this, like we feel about each other. Don't let them come between us.
I'm sitting here, unashamedly staring at you. I can see the pain in your face; your expression gives it all away. It's breaking my heart to see you this upset. You are all that matters to me, you are my life, and I thought you felt the same way.
But you do feel the same, I know you do. You told me as much last night as you embraced me. I can still taste you now; it's that taste that is you and only you. It's that smell, it's the smile, it's everything. Everything about you makes me whole. Makes me happy.
We're a team, you and me. A duo, a twosome, a couple. They joke about it, they laugh behind our backs, but they're just jealous. Jealous of what we have.
