Running on Faith

Running on Faith

Your fuel

That keeps you going

That keeps you running

Your faith

Much less solid than concrete

Not as thin as air

But you're walking on water

It's not an easy task

But say a Hail Mary

Pray to Our Father

And say you believe

In our Lord Jesus Christ

Is every day heaven

For a praying sinner?

Keep praying

Just hope that they hear you

Do you believe you'll reach heaven

When you pass on?

Or do you think

That you're destined for hell?

"It's not jewelry," they'd say,

"You don't wear it that way."

But the rosary around your neck

Keeps you safe

Keeps your demons at bay

Keeps the danger away

Keeps you praying

Keeps you walking on water

Keeps you sound at night

It's your guide and your light

Keeps you running on empty

You're running on faith
