Chapter 1
"Starvation"
Our story begins amongst the city of Indianapolis, where Clint and his buddy live in an apartment together. It was a typical Saturday, just around lunchtime. While Clint was playing his video game, he heard his stomach raging a rumbling war inside him.
He asked his buddy if there was any food left from over the week. "Uh..just the last of one of your Ramen bowls..", he replied. "Seriously?!? That's all!?!"; asked Clint, thinking there was more than that.
His buddy chuckled, "Gee, Clint..why don't you just fly to Japan for your precious Ramen bowls?
That gave Clint an idea; 'Yet, would it work?, he pondered to himself. "You know? It just might be crazy enough to work!!", Clint exclaimed to his comrade. His friend sighed,"Dude!! I was just joking! You couldn't possibly afford a trip to and from Japan, you don't even have enough money save up!"
Clint laughed, "Ohohoho! That's where you're wrong, dude! So wrong!!" "What have you been selling? Your Pony Collection? Hahahaha!!", laughed his friend, waiting for a comeback. "Hmph! Just so you know, I've been saving up tons of dough from my job, shows how much you've been paying attention to me!", Clint replied. He explained his idea to his buddy about flying to Japan to find the 'Perfect Bowl of Ramen Noodles'. "It's like a quest from The Lord of the Rings! "The One Bowl of Ramen Noodles to Rule All of My Appetite!!" I don't know how long I'll be gone, but don't come looking for me!" His friend just shook his head and sighed, "Bring me back something since I'll be the one looking after the place, and paying your bills along with mine, and.."
Clint finally caved in, "Okay, Okay! I'll bring you back a maid costume! Hahahaha!"
They both came to an agreement and drove off to the Chicago O'Hare Airport within 3 hours time.
And, thus our hero Clint begins on his "Ramen Quest" towards Japan!!
