SCULLY'S POV

As the images began to come back to me, the doctor's assistant grabbed my hand. "Oh my God" I said, the memories were coming, rushing into my head, the alien spaceship, the burning bodies. Even though she had taken my hand I felt scared and alone. I reached out with my left hand and felt him grab and hold it in his own. Mulder was now here, in a way holding me. As soon as I felt my hand covered by his I relaxed. I was no longer alone, and I knew that as long as he was there beside me that I was safe.
