Author's Note: This poem was greatly inspired by the anime "Fruits Basket". If you haven't seen it, I extremely recommend seeing it. By far, it has now joined my list of favorite anime. I feel this is somewhat of the theme threaded within its beautiful and wondrous storyline, so please read and I hope you enjoy it.
Always…You Shall Belong

Aren't we always looking for it?
The place where we will belong…
Will we ever find it?
We look and look and look
Always walking forward
Even if times are sad…even if things hurt…
You keep walking forward
Why? Do you ever wonder why?
I wonder, so often, I wonder
But if you have legs, it is a shame to let them go to waste
Keep on walking, always, keep on walking

Look for the place where you belong
Because once you find it, it'll be the greatest
It might be a physical place
Or it might be found within a person
Who knows- it's different for everybody
Walk forward, walk away- you must walk
