Well 'Skyhook' definitely gave me plenty of inspiriation and I hope everyone else found the episode as enjoyable as I did. Anyway, here is the first of my new five part series.
"Can you give us a status report?"
"Well so far, your rescue attempts appear to be unsuccessful. International Rescue? Hah! International slowcoach more like."
"I meant a report on your status, not the- never mind."
International Rescue was a legacy of their fathers, and Scott didn't like to hear anything against it considering… well considering the lack of Jeff Tracy presence in their lives.
Yes, he had out of all of his siblings – with exception to John – inherited their father's clear head by large. Yet he held one difference to John that could make him lose it.
So he was occasionally prone to argumentation; it wasn't like they never had a good reason.
Frying Thunderbird Two and nearly causing his brother a serious accident, was a good enough reason to be made in itself. Being a very annoying man who hadn't made their job any easier, was a nice secondary reason. A third though would be the attitude.
Virgil would be proud of him, considering he didn't engage in an argument, succeeding instead in halting his ire for the sake of a rescue. That, and you can't punch a hologram.
It's a good thing he had a, a head for heights and b, a tolerance of high speeds. Falling into a category five hurricane had certainly not been the plan and nor had engine falling due to extremely thin air. But then, likewise nor had giving up.
"Scott, you have to break off."
"Thunderbird One failed."
He hated to admit it, but there was little else for it.
Well I hope you enjoyed it and you can probably guess the theme I'm following. Anyway, I hope to have the rest up soon as all of them are kind of finished, minus a bit of editing. But yes, Virgil through to John should all be up by tomorrow. Thank you for reading as always and I hope you will like this series as much as my other works.
And just another thank you for all the favourites, alerts, reviews etc. as they all mean so much to me! x
