"How can you order a pizza in this chaos?" Alya demanded.

Nino pointed his pizza app at her. "Well, I just pick up my phone and-"

Alya knocked his phone out of his hand. "You know what I mean."

"Okay, so Paris is under attack by another akumatized victim," he said with a shrug. "But Chat Noir and Ladybug will take care of it like they always do."

"What utter moron would go parading the streets when all of Paris is full of danger?" she asked. "Besides, I have to cover this for the Ladyblog! Let's go!" She grabbed her bag and his hand, yanking him toward the door.

"Uh, babe."
"What?"
"Aren't you being 'an utter moron'?" he pointed out.

"This is different," she insisted. "This is for the blog."

"I am so not going out there with you. We could get killed!"

She put a hand on her hip. "But you were willing to risk a pizzaman's life?"
"Dude, what can I say? The stomach wants what the stomach wants." He shrugged.

She rolled her eyes and gave another yank on his hand. "Let's go before the action is all over!"

Nino used the momentum to turn her and push her down onto her bed. He held his body above her so that she would have to look him in the eyes. "No."

"What do you mean, Nino? The blog-"

"No, Alya." He sighed. Ever since he and Alya had started dating a few weeks ago, he had been trying to figure out how to tell her this. "When I was only your friend, I was willing to stand by and let you do whatever reckless thing you wanted. But now that we're together, that's gotta stop."

"Nino…" Alya bit her lip, trying to balance her duty for the blog and her duty as his girlfriend.

"I don't know what I would do if I lost you, babe," he told her. He shifted his weight so that he was sitting next to her now. "I'm not saying you can't run your blog. I just want you to be safe while you do."

Alya deliberated for a moment, finally deciding that one duty was more important than the other. She sat up and laid her head on his shoulder. "I like mushrooms on my pizza."

Nino chuckled, placing a kiss on top of her head. "I do, too."
