Light That Transpires Into Dark:
She was always so happy.
He could never fully understand it. How that smile was always present on that bright face on hers, how her large blue eyes never gave up hope. The sun would shine though her brown locks, bathing her creamy skin in sunlight. Her eyes would sparkle, full of life, light and innocence. He hated the way she so easily tried to understand everyone, how those azure iris's would widen with a maturity beyond her years. Everything was for everyone else, never for her. How could someone be that sickeningly perfect? How could someone possess not even a shard of darkness that blossomed in the hearts of man, then like a weed that even slowly corrupted the most pure of souls.
Malik would always grin and lay back, surveying her from the dark corners, taking note of how a slight blush always graced her features when the Pharaoh stalked by.
Stupid Idiot. When such a pure hearted jewel could be his, he doesn't even notice. Hah.
Her face haunted his dreams.
She wasn't beautiful.
Her pain was.
Oh, how he loved to watch her. The secret longing that lay in locked azure orbs, the desire that burned in her veins, behind that mask that she hung on her face everyday. She was not a friendship loving cheerleader. She was so much deeper then that. Malik could see, in the eyes of Anzu Makazi, the freedom he had once sought as a child, a prisoner. Him, out of duty, her, out of emotion.
Once, he saw her walking down the hall, and for the first time, the mask was off. Tears streamed down that creamy skin, no sun shone though that urban hair, no happiness in those seas of blue. A small smirk dominated his face as he darted forward, just quick enough to see those eye's widen in question.
Malik devoured her lips, his tongue cruel and unforgiving, his hands moving in a rapid motion down her back, one even interlocked in her hair. Malik sapped her light, her life, her purity.
He released Anzu, his eyes catching hers as he wiped his mouth with his hand, as his eyes burned with a odd type of fire. She had tasted of distant memories, of his innocence as a child, only to have his purity stolen by the light.
A odd chuckle echoed from his throat.
His darkness had stolen her purity.
Vengeance was his.
End
I wonder if any of you can figure out what was keeping Anzu prisoner?
