He couldn't have been jealous.
There was no freaking way.
But when Haruka came home and informed him of the fact that she had gotten a boyfriend, he felt sad. Haruka was in high school now to, with him at Tōdai when this happened. She had made the announcement shortly after they had sat down for dinner.
He'd admit that they were a little closer then average, but after all that had happened to them, what brother and sister wouldn't be?
He just felt...sad...yeah, sad was a good word for it. Sad and a little hurt that Haruka was leaving him already. He wasn't ready to be alone.
After what had happened, it had left him a little hallow. Empty being a better word for it. He couldn't really socialize that well with other people, particularly girls (THAT had never been his cup of tea to begin with). Haruka was the only one he could really act normal around.
At times though, she had accused him of being over-protective. She had even told him not to act like their father because he wasn't, but that was easy to shrug off with a smart-alecky comment or two. She'd hit him and tell him that he was being noisy and things would go back to normal.
And he wanted things to stay like that.
Normal, just him and Haruka.
