"Okay, Dean. Cas and I will see you guys in a couple of days. Bye," Haven said. Dean was about to hang up when he heard Haven sigh.
"Have you told him how you feel?" Castiel asked Haven. Dean frowned. What was the angel talking about?
"Are you kidding? I could never tell him," Haven answered. It dawned on Dean that his friends thought the call had ended.
"Why not?" Castiel asked. Dean heard Haven sigh again.
"He would never feel that way about me. He treats me the same way he treats Sam. I'm like a little sister to him," she answered.
"Perhaps you should discuss your feelings with Dean," the angel told her. Dean's heart began to beat quickly. Haven scoffed.
"Yep. I'll just walk up to Dean Winchester, Mr. One-Night-Stand, and say 'Hey, I love you'. Great idea, Cas," she replied.
"It was only a suggestion." Dean grinned and hung up the phone. He was going to prove that he could be more than Mr. One-Night-Stand.
A few days later, Haven and Castiel returned to the bunker. Dean met them at the bottom of the stairs with a smile.
"Hey. How was the hunt?" he asked. The woman and the angel sighed.
"It went fine. I'm going to bed," Haven replied. Dean grabbed her wrist when she tried to walk past him.
"I actually need to talk to you," he said. Haven groaned.
"Dean...I'm tired."
"It's important."
"Fine." She followed him to his room. "What do you need to talk to me about?"
"I heard you and Cas talking the other day," he told her. The color drained from her face.
"What are you talking about?" she whispered.
"You thought that you ended the call but I heard everything. How you feel. And the fact that I'm Mr. One-Night-Stand," he said with a smirk. Haven sat on the end of his bed heavily.
"You weren't supposed to hear all that," she mumbled. Dean knelt in front of her and made her look at him.
"I know. But I'm glad I did. It means that I get the chance to prove that I can be more than Mr. One-Night-Stand," he replied. Haven's eyes widened as she looked at him.
"You...feel the same way?" she asked. Dean chuckled and nodded. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him happily.
"I'm gonna prove you wrong," he laughed. She grinned at him.
"You better."
